Thanks for the help.
I did install the correct driver, though like you said it could be faulty. I did have a older version of the drivers installed, but that also did not work.
Could you give me more info regarding which XML file and how to edit it correctl?

Any advice will be appreciated. I've read so many topics, but nothing helps.
I'm new to Second Life, never played it before. So what I'm doing is a first for me.
I installed the latest SL Viewer 3.2.6 then tried version 3.2.5 and Phoenix_Firestorm-Release_3-2-2-24336, but with all I get the same issue. I did uninstall each one properly and also deleted all cache and temp files of each before installing the next one. I've also upgraded my graphics card drivers.
I double click he Second Life desktop icon. A narrow grey window appear saying 'Loading Second Live', then changes to 'Initializing VFS' and then it disapears. Another window popup saying "Second Life Crash Logger" and it sends a report to Second Life crash reporter server..try 1. After sending it disappears too.
My system is as follows:
Windows XP Professional
NVidea GeForce 7300 SE / 7200 GS
Dual View screens (2 screens)
2.5GB RAM
Dual Core 1.6Ghz
Why won't my SL viewer load? -
Hi all.
I'm brand new to SL. A few days ago I downloaded SL (Second_Life_3-2-6-248086) and installed it. (I have uninstalled and re-installed it a few times too).
But I can not get the SL Viewer to run. I double-click the Icon on my desktop to start SL. It brings a small narrow window up saying "Loading Second Life" then change to "Initializing VFS". The window disappears and another one popup saying "Second Life Crash Logger" and it sends a report to SL crash report server 1. After sending it disappears too.
I have upgraded my graphics card drivers, I've cleared the cache manually.
Any help to get my SL to work would be great

Thanks for the reply. I've not tried Dev ver 3.2.9 yet, but I dit rename the settings.xml file and still no luck.
