There are new games out there that you can continue earning money, I have personally started my own lately, called "RISE Gaming Association" - with the goal of making people earn their lindens the fun and honest way.

[How much can you sell a sim for?]

First off, is the sim mainland or private island?

Now, if it's mainland, be sure if you are going to sell it that the person you sell it to has a premium account and also has the amount of tier covered to keep the sim up and running.

I don't believe there is a transfer fee involved with any ownership transfers.

I know I'm not much help, but I hope this helps out.

I'd be surprised if lag is reduced...

never in my life I can live in a lag-free environment, yes I agree with that, but I'm used to it and I do not see much mesh (junk PC over here) but one of these days, I can only imagine having a great time with SL.

Theres still plenty of opportunity in this virtual world.

SL taught me a lot about community involvement and why having money isn't the answer to everyone's problems. I've also learned that to some people, they won't share anything - thats why I always shared from the start
