Hi Davide, chuckle you're right I don't have any mall managing experience so thx for sharing this. What in mind needs to happen to allow rental prices to be more respectable? Also do Linden Labs charge for traffic too? Cos tht is bad if they do! Thx.

Hi Beethros. Thanks for sharing this. Why is it Linden Labs charge so much for land? This is a Community forum so surely for the sake of encouraging 'community' they would make an effort. I'm surprised there are any shops or services inworld in SL. Do u think there are less now? I agree a BIG welldone to those who do out of generosity lower rental charges, but again I still maintain it can attract people to their sim!! Peteey

I agree what a waste of space & they cld e making lindens if lower. Also how could a new seller ever get started for that price? Some are even more for fewer prims and its both a rip off and unfair. I recently rented some good space in a mall 50l$ for 50prims. Unfortunately its closing in June. I've also found stores 50l$ for 30prims. Just type in search 'rent' + amount and u can find them. Landlords should offer deals which could work to their benefit! There are some things you have to see in SL in my opinion. My store is a teleportation service which you need to be in SL for and loadsa people say its a great idea

Hi, I've just opened a new gallery called 'Gateway 2 Romance'. The gallery acts as a portal by allowing visitors to teleport to some of the best romantic sims in Second Life. Everyone whose seen it says they really like the gallery and its a great idea. I'm now looking to promote it more and would like to team up with someone who designs or offers romantic items/locations inworld. I thought of a number of ways we could help each other such as:
- an event at my gallery or at your sim, if you are based inworld, to advertise the service I offer and your new designs
- a competition/hunt where visitors to my gallery hunt for or receive as a prize one of your designs
- design new items with my gallery's name and logo as giveaways in exchange for displaying/promoting your designs/offers in my galleryIf you are interested, please post a message here and I'll correspond with you inworld.
If you are interested in working with me and have any ideas or suggestions I'd like to hear those too .
