[Setting Mesh Face Order for llDetectedTouchFace with Textures and Materials]

In Blender and maybe other programs the face order of meshes is set alphabetically.

To get faces with llDetectedTouchFace() in scripts in the order you want, name your materials and maybe even textures alphabetically such as :

aa red
ab orange
ac yellow
ad green
ae blue
af indego
ag violet
ah white

DO NOT use numbers for the material names to set the order as blender seems to strip them off in the collada file and your faces will be out of order using the first letter of the material name.

While having the order exact is not super critical for scripts or scripting, it can lower the amount of mental gymnastics you have to do when things are in the expected order.

Looks like the upload cost for free users is going up too, as the first package mentions L$10 for uploads.

[Viewer Release Notes pages]

I much preferred the experience browsing the old page at

i have to click through each recent version number to see which 'project' it belongs to, or on the repositories page and then back to the version number to see the release notes.

I like to use the maintenance versions when they were available and it was much easier to go to the old page, click the version under maintenance and then download.
