Ladies and Gentlemen, Your 2017 Passion Competition is now open.
We have decided to revisit the 7 Deadly Sins. This should provide a wide variety of story options.
There is a video category along with a script writing category.
Check out the updated website and visit the forums for more information.
We also have 2 video ads up at the moment. 1 general and 1 theme specific.

After viewing and scoring every video submitted the judges have completed their work and have determined that it was a very hard decision but here are your 2015 Passion Competition winners:

The judges and staff of the Passion Competition wish to thank everyone who entered to make this year's competition as good as it was. The competition this year was very close. The difference between 1st and 2nd place was only 0.0175 points out of a possible 15. Between 3rd and 4th was only 0.0475 out of 15 possible points. This made it the closest decision in the 9 years of the event. The quality of the videos submitted made it a very difficult decision all around.
If anyone who submitted a video would like feedback on their entry please email me and I will compile a set of notes from the judges comments on the scoring forms for you.
Once again, thank you to all who entered and thank you to those who helped judge and make this competition what it is today. -
We have decided to extend the submission deadline until Oct. 17th in the hopes of generating more entries.

The 2015 Passion Competition is starting in just over 1 week. The theme will be released on July 11th and submissions will be from Ugust 8th to October 3rd 2015.
Great prizes once again. Hope to see more entries from Second Life users again this year. For more info you can go to the main website and also the forums (where all entries will be made).

Greetings Second Lifers.
The Passion Competition will be take place again this year and we are looking forward to seeing what this community can produce. For those unfamiliar with this event, you can find out more by going to the official website. The specific dates for the competition can be found here.
Once again, we hope to see some participation from the SL community. We did have one entry a few years ago but nothing since. Please take the time to check out the website and keep this competition in your minds. -

Judging panels are set. I love when highly regarded members of the community are willing to help me with this production.
This year we have actors, published writers and judges with great insights into the world of video and writing. I wish to thank them for helping me.
