  1. I personally love the theme.  The landscaping is Fantastic.  So many beautiful spots it's really hard to decide on a favorite.  A number of the house models are good for me too.  Some are too large for my preference, but they are all really lovely.  I also like that new regions are brought up quickly to meet the demand and customer service on tickets in outstanding.  A big thank you to the Moles and Linden's from me.

I noticed today if you stand under some of the pigeons that are roosting on the telephone wires...please bring an umbrella!!

This is not a drill, this is real!

    Try it and find out!

    That's hilarious!

The LDPW needs to get to work on creating an English cottage theme, just so they can use these as region names. 😆

And I want one of these!

    Hello everyone,
I simply need a feedback if I got that right - I have been Premium for al long time and so I've had Linden Homes.
My financial status doesn't allow me a Premium any longer, so I did quit a few months ago.
Now I have seen that the Plus Membership exists, but the description is a bit tricky to me - English isn't my native tounge.
It says Plus Members can have up to 512 sqm. plots on Mainland. I am not keen on Mainland because I know it has to be purchased by auction.
And generally, it is an environment which gives lots of freedom but at the same time therefore might be chaotic.

Since the campers are on 512 plots, I am wondering if a Plus can claim one of these or has generally no chance to settle in Belli.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Anidusa.  My understanding is you can not have a linden home with Plus.

This is why I went Premium+, for the Homestead.  Thankfully, I live in the good old USA, so no VAT, and if you got it when they first advertised the offer, no set up fee :)  I had always rented my HS form Anshe, as I felt her company was trustworthy, but the last few times, it was coming in at $130USD per month.  With LL, it's the 109 plus 30 for premium, so a little higher out of pocket, but also get the other prem+ benefits...to me, it was the better deal, even without the 2048 homes.

I agree and went from a full region to a homestead which made it less for me at the time.  Playing with Linden homes over the years has taught me how to really stretch my LI.  5,000 is quite a lot and I love the space.  Can't wait to see what I can do with my 702LI on the new theme too.

My guess was that all the landscaping/building moles you'd expect to be putting together a new Linden Home theme would probably get diverted to prepping the birthday itself; would be good to be proved wrong, though.

Over the last few weeks (since I started peeking in) I've been seeing activity on both groups of regions and the ssp4000's has had more presence than the SLB regions until just today.  I think we will see a theme reveal.  And I hope I am NOT proven wrong. :)

Edit: Now I think about it, I'm having doubts, and going through the thread is endless filler of I WANT MY HOUSE NOW WHY NO HOUSES YET. But I'm on a mission, so let's see if I can find out which colour was which. I won't be doing a drinking game with the WHY NO HOUSE YET posts.

I always thought 1500's were vics and red was sakura but I might be wrong.

If you want to add LI without impacting performance, then say goodbye to all the beautiful landscaping and shared spaces that make Bellisseria so appealing.

No way!  I am happy to wait for a new theme myself.  Well I'm not exactly happy waiting but you know what I mean. :)

I think the "too much demand" was a bunch of people submitting tickets at the same time for the 2048 homes when they are first released as opposed to assuming there would not be enough homes for all PP members....

e.g, too much demand on the "request a home" service if we are allowed to specify a specific 2048 home when they first come out...

That's how I understood it too.

SL regions are not set up as you wish they were.

There will be 2048 m parcels, probably rectangular, and because they will be twice as big as a 1024 m parcel, they will have twice the land impact available. I expect the houses to be roughly the same size as the others, so this means there will be more space for a garden, a pool, a garage or a horse stable. Since the current homes allow 2 breedable pets, the double size parcels could allow up to 4, but that's something the lab needs to decide in a cost vs. benefit analysis.

I envisioned something like this as the shape.  White being the parcel and black the protected land.  Where it dips into the parcel some kind on Linden created entry way.

LL know perfectly well that when they do unveil the 2048s, most premium plus members won't care (they already have their own private regions and homesteads) and the remainder will want to know why they couldn't just have a double-primmed Victorian instead. Meanwhile, it's better to refund a handful of unhappy customers than to rush through something that nobody will be happy with.

I have a homestead but I also care about the 2048 LH.  I want ALL of the options the PP plan offers and I don't think I am in the minority.  I did not take a poll and could be wrong about that.  Just wanted to say that because I want LL to know we, or at least I do care.

While I dislike waiting, I'd rather see them done well as you point out.

What if (and sorry if I missed this earlier) - there was an option to "rez" vs. "not rez" the partial wall/fence?

The main issue being, if it were on the shared property line with a neighbor. You can't BOTH decide.

Interesting idea and I'd have loved this capability on some of the parcels I've had.

I also think it might be a real challenge to create and maintain.  They would have to assign the permissions to rez/hide the specific fences/bushes and to the ever changing owners of the nearest parcel(s).   I am probably over simplifying.

  14. I find most of the themes very aesthetically pleasing over all.  I'd say that's quite an accomplishment considering they are not building just for me.  Most of the themes have a couple models sized small enough that I really enjoy decorating and using them a while. Sometimes I keep one a long time but I also love that I have the option to pick another whenever I want.

Most of all,  because they are appealing to a large number of us they have allowed me to meet and make a few close friends.  I have had regions (now a homestead) most of my time in SL and love the space to do what ever I want but its not the same as the Linden homes from a social aspect. I will keep both.

Great topic for a post Teresa.

In order to compare annual cost of premium vs premium plus, it is important to make two assumptions . First, you have the upfront cash. Second, the stipend can be converted back into dollars that you own. (Dollars are fungible. Doesn't matter where they come from.)

What you do with the stipend is irrelevant to the annual comparison of plan costs. If you don't have the cash up front, your options are to pay for the more expensive monthly plan or to borrow the cash elsewhere (which may be cheaper than going monthly).

Are you doing this cost analysis for use of Linden homes only?  Uploads have a monetary value and could eat up those extra stipends pretty quickly.  Hard to valuate because each user's could be quite different.  Land usage (extra 1024) also has a monetary value but if you are only looking to own Linden homes it and other features PP offers might not be needed in your calculation for a linden home owners cost comparison.

6 dots in SSPVCR.  Heavy QA activity?

Earlier, there were 5 dots in one region in SSP4000-SSP4035, but now there's only one hopping around.  That block of regions happens to be the perfect size to fill the lower half of the donut hole in Newbrooke.

/me glances at her gadgets.  Oh, Patch is inworld.  Hmmm.

My question is: for those of us who signed up for Premium Plus, are we going to get an extra stipend or something for the loss of land use for the last 8-9 months (so far). We're paying for what we aren't getting.

I think Linden could do a lot better at setting realistic timeframes on delivery of their new products/features but to address your question... I wouldn't think so.  We do have an option for the use of that land allowance. They did say the 2048's would be made available later and after that said aiming for before year end.  That was 2022 I assume.

Don't get me wrong, I'm getting anxious too and wouldn't be against receiving a rebate but I just don't see that happening.

  18. I personally LOVE everything about the Fantassaria with the one exception being the size of the houses.  I like cozy and can't seem to achieve it even in the smallest model unless I make a hide to block off rooms. I don't really like doing that either so I stick to some of the other themes I also love.  There are a few great options for me.
