Can you give a Premium Second Life account as a gift ?

I can't seem to find a way to give the gift of an premium account to friend. I don't want to just give the money to the individual i would like to pay SL/LL and have them issue the account is that possible ?

No, you cannot pay a premium membership( which, moreover, is a recurrent fee) for another resident. There is no other way than giving money to the person. 

1. Either you know his/her paypal and regularly send them the money

2. Or you pay them enough Linden Dollars which they will have to convert to USD in order to pay their membership by themselves. Even in this case, your friend will need to have a registered payment method (CC or Paypal) as premium fees are withdrown from their bank account.

Hmm i really think LL should rethink this its totally there lose for not allowing this and its a simple matter not to renew the premium account and a gift should not be renewable any way ,, You can tell LL that I would give the gift of one year premium to a friend if they would only allow this ! ( hmm they might be listening anyway ) any way thanks for your response Inshan :-)

I wish I could tell this to LL (among quite a few other things, actually) But this is a resident to resident forum and I have no more power than any other to talk to anyone at Linden Lab... Oh, and my first name is Valerie, btw!
