IM issues

I am logged in and my friends can see that I'm onine.  But all the responses from their IM's to me go to my email as if I'm not logged in.  Why?  My setting are the same as always.

It sounds like you may have got a connection problem; partial disconnections can cause the server to believe you're offline, and IMs re-route themselves to your email.

Is it happening all the time, or just now and again? 

If it's a one-off, relog.

Also, could be a problem with a specific sim - again wrong information transmitting between the server and your avatar's true information. You can test this by relogging into a different sim.
