In some areas of second life or most areas I have visited. I seem to get low FPS and some times lag. My Internet connection is wireless but I have a good speed. If anyone could maybe give me a reason on why this is happening? My current pc specifications: AMD A6-5400K APU dual core 3.6 GHz Palit GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB 8 GB RAM Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit I can run some up to date games on this PC and think It should be fine on second life. I also have steam and skype running all of the time.. but that doesn't interfere with anything else. --- I have no idea how to reply on this.. If you can. By good speed I mean that on steam I get around 4 - 6 MBs download speed and I also can't get wired internet due to the router being downstairs in my dads computer room. No way to move closer and my family wouldn't like a wire going through the house. --- I was meaning Mbits. I have all drivers up to date. Processors amd catalyst manager. Nividia Geforce Drivers up to date. Heres a speedtest from the speedtest.net site. I also make sure steam isn't downloading as I know it can cause that. -- Not much of an improvement when I lower the slider from default settings "Left Image" to "Right image" I'll try and see if I can speedtest in Dallas or/and Phoenix -- I can't seem to be able to try Dallas or Phoenix.
