  1. Want to shoot some machinima and not be accosted by kinky cannibals.
  2. Updated with a Youtube link as some where having trouble with Vimeo. It looks much better with a larger view... I'm thinking that may be obvious though...
  3. https://vimeo.com/52575530 Thanks to Dita Adored for playing and creating the character of Marion from two crappy pics I sent. A very big thanks to Delirium Deed and belladonna Enchanted for allowing me to use their SIM (The Point of Derivation): http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Faberge/123/117/21 The whole build is amazing and they were incredibly helpful. Lastly, thanks to Sydney Jacobs for standing in the corner on occasion and bitching about how boring it all was. :matte-motes-silly: Edited to add the smiley to show I was just fu**ing with her.
  4. I don't have World > Environmental Editor > Day Editor (capture is from Lindens, I went there to double check) When I do go into the Day preset editor, I am looking for this: But I get this: No place to edit Length of cycle. You see something differently? What version of Firestorm are you using?
  5. Actually that was my post too. I figured I would try this forum as the focus is different than the Machinima one.
  6. Hey there, At one time you could adjust the length of cycle for the full day to take however much time you wanted. Now, I cannot find the options in the Day Cycle Editor. Any idea where the Length of Cycle can be changed or how I can go about adjusting it?
  7. Looks like that may be my only option at this point. I've spoken to Phoenix support and they said the functionality is gone now. Could have just gotten the wrong person though. I'll see what they say on the viewer forum. I've also thrown a hail mary out to Torley, see if he has any insight....this may be it in the end though. Thanks for your help.
  8. Sorry, I meant capture the change of time. Wanted some dramatic changing of time, morning to noon to night back to morning, in under a minute.
  9. Length of cycle. From the video: I just want to be able to set a shorter cycle so I can cap the change of time.
  10. Yes, followed the instructions prior to posting, these are the options I have in both viewers: Does anyone see something different on theirs?
  11. Hey there, Sorry, did I miss something in that post? I see that it worked for you in August 2011, but when I pull up Firestorm and the Linden viewers, there are no options to adjust the time cycle so the cycle is less than 4 hours. I'm looking at the Edit Day Cycle and the options that I see mentioned in other posts are not there.
  12. Hey there, Got some help in world by merit.coba but when I started to explore it more in depth, the online tutorials seem to have different settings than either Firestorm or the Lindens Viewer. Is there a way for me to set the day cycle to be measured in minutes as opposed to 4 hours? This is what I was watching (I am assuming it is 2 years old or so): http://video.answers.com/how-to-use-sl-windlight-day-cycle-editor-109955942
  13. Found a fix. Seems to be related to the graphics adapter. To fix in Phoenix Firestorm: Preferences - Graphics - Hardware Settings - Uncheck "Enable OpenGL Vertex Buffer Objects" I guess my Nvidia GTX 560 Ti does not implement this well. Thanks for your help.
  14. Actually I see this in game for avi's in the distance as well. There is a threshold that once crossed the avi's look this way. So some in the background would look normal and others would not. The others that looked normal would not be able to move away from the camera because once they crossed that line, they would go from normal animation to 3x speed. I could just shoot without extreme longs or with avis staying in the safe zone, but this, to me, makes it feel flat. The fact that few others see it must mean that I have tweaked a setting and screwed this up somehow. As for using a PS3 controller I just started trying to get that to work, I'll save that discussion/question for another day...
