Alpha conflict troubleshooting

Does anyone happen to know what may be causing this invisiprim like alpha conflict against my mesh?

I was having this problem the other day and finally found out it was alpha layer related. I have a full body alpha that fixes this, but when I went to make my own, I got the same issue again.

It is due to the alpha in the texture and how the texture was saved.  It sometimes is needed to save a texture as tga or remove alpha channel to prevent that from happening.
