LL are not acting against pedos in SL.
I reported recently a brand new account that somehow sends links to strangers via some object called "." just a dot. This appears in the public chat, like any other object message. The message has a link that reads like something you don't want to know.
Few minutes ago, as of writing, this <censored rant> account sends this again!! Are we supposed to be exposed to what looks like sharing of child porn, or will you do something about this, as of right now?!?

If you've filed an abuse report, you've done all you can. I suggest you block the object that's sending you these messages, and let Governance deal with it.
Since I don't think there's anything that can usefully be added to the thread, I'm locking it before it becomes a pile on.
