I want to make a simple six-sided prim box and use a single texture image mapped in SL so that each face appears to be different (not six identical faces) but just using one PNG "net" texture rather than six separate ones. Preamble / Conditions I don't really want to go down the Blender -> Mesh route + making a UV map because a simple prim is only 1LI and so there is no optimisation benefit of replacing it with mesh (plus I don't know how to do UV Mapping in Blender) I know how to use the Build tools in SL and the texturing panel - and I know how to apply a different textur
Ack this might be a stupid question Im really sorry but is anyone able to export the default SL Sauin avatar skin to customise? The skin looks fine but XD I wanted to add a lil more blushiness to it does anyone know how to? (Edit:) Cuz Hnn idk if the default UV map you find on google will be able to stretch to fit cuz thats iffy stuff haha
I have been watching a tutorial and in the midst we get to UV mapping and the instructor hits "T" and get a great set of UV tools that make instant work of some things that I have been doing by hand (oh my!) when "I" hit "T" I get a tiny transform pane with (translate rotate scale) and a Grease Pencil tab. SO NOT THE SAME. So of course I WANT THEM but I don't see them in the preferences (or I am missing them) and many search terms are coming up with interesting things in Google, but not this.
