Hey again Forum people, i'm trying to add my metallic materials to the uv map but it isn't working once i click bake its just doing flat colors instead of choosing the metallic. I have everything metallic except the font. How do i go about doing this? Thanks

Hey all, I recently purchased a mesh head model from a website to work with as a base, for second life creations, & I was wondering what is the best way to go about converting the UV map it came with to match that of the default SL, so it can work with omega appliers and such, I have tried marking seams as closely as possible on the new mesh to correspond with where the seams are on the default head, which got a close result at one point, but I never saved that file & haven't had any luck ever since, i'm just wondering if there is a better way that I am unaware of?Here is a pic of bot

Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone know of a nice, quick way of modeling a UV map to a rectangle or quadrangle shape. My uv looks like this: I need to transform the two patterns on the right from their current shape into a rectangle-shape. Does anyone know of a tool that could help do this? I already tried the addon UV Squares and it makes a huge mess. I've isolated one of the shapes in a different uv map just to show the result: Any other ideas are very welcome. The only other solution I know is to straighten out the UV by hand.
