Hello everyone, I'm creating free textures more than a year and sharing them free in my website.(sharetextures.com) I finaly reached more than 800 textures and you can use this textures anywhere you want.   3. does anyone knows what happened with textures nowadays? all my textures cant seem to be stretched and stay in their original sizes, that they created unpleasant texture boxes (in original sizes) on the whole platform, and not one big stretched texture. i tried to rez in various places and all came out the same. must be something in my own (avatar) setting? i even tried to resize my existing carpets, and they created boxes out of the current size too if i resize them bigger. what is wrong? anyone knows how to solve this? please help. how to solve this? really appreciate any helpful an

I run second life on the firestorm viewer but am having issues now where I am having textures rez up, but then blur out and re rezz and are doing this repeadtly on there and is causing me to suffer with lag while sl is rendering the texture it just rendered again and has made the experience quite unenjoyable. I just tried a full uninstall of the setup and tried a fresh install and its not fixing the issues and am wondering how to fix this as I have been stuck at my home now in sl for last five days as can't enjoy clubs or other sims due to the problem.
  6. Ive asked this before but still not found the answer. I want to find Skyline panoramic textures (city landscape) to use on my builds. I need 360 degree views to fit all the way around a skybox. Pref of a city. Can anyone help me? I can find basic skylines but theyyre not 360 panoramics.
  7. I have always felt the "Delete" or "Discard" button was too close to the "Save" or "Close" buttons. At times while possibly in a hurry I have hit that delete button instead of save or whatever else function I meant to do. I feel that "Delete" button needs to be as far away from the other buttons as possible. This may seem a bit frivolous to some, but how many times have YOU hit that delete button accidentally?....especially before you saved a note card for example? In posting the suggestion I am in hopes of comments, of course, and the attention from Linden Lab! Have a blessed day!
  8. Hello, I have such a problem, how to load a model with a multimaterial? When I upload a model to the Ira and click the check mark next to the word texture, it flies off after loading and the model becomes gray.
  9. G'day fellow Citizens! I'm wanting to learn Blender to steer away from other creators Full perm Mesh stuff and use addons for SL like Avastar & Sparkle, as I read they're useful for creating stuff for SL. Is that right? or are there any other great addons to use? I read somewhere that there'll be a new Avastar soon, so I think I'd hold off in buying it til then. I haven't seen any updates about this, anyone know anything? Also, do texture artists use Adobe Illustrator to make textures? I have Photoshop CS5.1 only.   10. Hi everyone, I'm new to SL, and I'm learning how to build & texture. I know how to apply textures from my inventory, but I've just aquired a free texture organizer from MP which comes already loaded with lots of textures, and I can't figure out how to actually apply the textures from the organizer to an object I'm building!   13. Hi everyone! I have a few questions about texturing in SL, For now is about avatars. Decided to customize my avatar with my own textures (makeup, skin details, etc). Currently, I have a Genus Head/Legacy body combo. I have found templates and developers kit for my heads and bodies. However... Where do I get a lashes template? or, How that works? I see that I can add an applier texture for my lashes but I have not seen or figured out how the lashes texture is supposed to be laid out using a UV map. Also, Are most skins and most lipsticks etc in SL a photoshop manipulated image? how ar
  14. I am looking for an experienced mesh clothing designer who is familiar with all bodies both male and female. We are primarily looking for t-shirts at this time , however for a experienced designer with high quality work there is the possibility for other clothing such as hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants , hats etc. This will be an going project for the right person with regular orders.   18. Created a HUD, works rezzed and worn but only on rezzed item, not worn item. When the socks are worn the textures do change with the HUD but they are extremely blurry and never load. Not sure what to do here to fix this. Anyone else had this experience?

  20. Hi I have written asking about this mystery a couple of times before but no one seems to have any idea, which I find difficult to believe, so I'm trying again with a fresh example. There is a particular technique of animating a mesh object that I am seeing that utterly baffles me and I wonder if any smart mesh coder out there can point the way for me?   21. I don't usually run across this issue because its not something I've really had to deal with before. I am building a grocery store in SL, and I went to my Real life grocery store and took a bunch of photos of products on the shelves to use as images on the shelves to reduce prims of having a bunch of prim items.... anyway, some of these products are name brand products... oreo, Jiffy peanut butter, Orville popcorn just to name a few that are shown in these images. By using these images am I am breaking any copyright infringements? Do I need to go through and change the names of everything? Or
  22. I am having an ongoing issue with textures going in and out of focus (see pics). It happens constantly and I can't even take a picture without random textures going from sharp to fuzzy to sharp again several times a minute. Other textures will stay fine but certain others just get crazy, no matter the distance of the camera to the object. See pics. I have the latest Firestorm; I have ALM off, I have object LOD at 2; I don't have Malewarebytes as others suggested in similar post.   23. Hello everyone! So I have finally acquired my own Region! I am trying to get the soil texture of mine to ONLY be under the water line so the "lakes" I have made into the ground using terraforming will have the soil texture below the "water line" I am having quite the struggle trying to do this as the dirt is showing up on hills and area above the limit I set the textures at...but I don't think I have fully grasped how the terrain texture editing works yet. This image below is what I'm working on so far. Damn you DIRT! I want you BELOW the water line HAHA!

So I have been trying to read up past posts about Substance painter export settings without luck and such because I am struggling with getting a PROPER way to export my work from Substance Painter into Second Life without it looking blehhhh.
