  1. Hiya. After the last update Second Life Release 6.2.0.526104 (64bit) when I try to zoom in using my mouse and the Option Alt key, the camera zooms rapidly far out and spins and will not zoom in at all as it always has done. Is this a bug in the the viewer or something I may have inadvertently done to change the key command? It is making camming in SL - especially for content creation - difficult at best. I've never experienced this issue in all my years in SL on PC's or the MacBook. Thank you! Edited to add the SL Viewer update is the EEP version: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release/6.2.0.526104
  2. I have the new SL viewer (6.2) but am stressing about how to use my windlights with the new environmental feature? HELP!
  3. mY wifi is all good so idk wat going on. havNt been on here in months. http://prntscr.com/l0j7p7
  4. My Net and firewall setting is as same when i had no issue but after long time it appears again My router is wired i reinstalled SL viewer ticket advisor told me to connect to linden server for downloading folders to fix issue but nothing could be dl ed , then advised me to call my isp which told me that every thing is right ? PLEASE QUICK and refrain repetitive solutions
  5. Wanted: Viewer Developers for a viewer development team. The project scope is to use the Phoenix Firestorm 4.7.7.48706 source code for a parsed viewer that's stable & parses out the various viewer features into modules that can be utilized in various Virtual World Communities for differentiation of enabled features, & improves the ability to fix, enhance, or replace features without effect to the functionality of the viewer. For an example, a RP Community could program or hire programmers to make a Viewer Module specific to their RP Community & features to facilitate their RP experience with the ease of enabling a Community Module for that community & restarting the viewer, with additional ability to again enable basic viewer features & restart the viewer & have the basic SL Viewer functionality restored to that same stable Viewer. For specific example, a Star Wars RPG Community might collaboratively work on the development of a SWRP Basic module, & 2 separate complimentary modules, 1 for Jedi, & 1 for Sith, & that way the various other subgroups, like Mandalorians, Troopers, etc., could work on the development of their own complimentary Community Viewer Modules, for dynamic Viewer Functionality & enhancement of experience. For other an example, an OpenSim Grid might have a Composits Engine feature within their Grid Software, & they make a Grid Specific Grid Module for their Grid, the total while that they make the presentation of the features to Linden Labs. Then eventually, Linden Labs decide to implement the Composit Engine Features, though not all the SL Community Members need nor consider those important object features, so one group of Viewer users just use the basic SL Grid Module, & a separate group of Viewer users just use the SL Grid Module (with Composits) module. Questions or Comments are welcome. Gracias.
  6. I recently logged out of my main account and tried to go into my alt's. Despite being able to log into the website and MP out-world, which means my password is correct, I kept recieving this message: I have tried reinstalling and moving to low lag places, but nothing works! Now even my main account isn't accessible! HELP please!
  7. So, I have been having this intermittent freezing. The program/viewer starts to not respond, and I will get a little blue wheel for about 45 secs to a min. If I am not on my viewer and am in another window, even if it is not responding, I will see a little 'blink' when it comes back so that I knew it was frozen. It is VERY frustrating. I have checked my ram for any errors (ran memtest86 for 11 passes and it all passed). I have checked for virus' and malware. I have run a clean on the computer. I have clean installed viewers. Cleared cache. Moved my logs. I have rolled back video drivers. Updated drivers. Literally cannot figure out what the issue is and cannot find anyone else with the issue. I am going to attach a copy of my specs below, as well as a log I also submitted to the peeps over at firestorm. This happens on both SL and Firestorm viewers (when they are logged in at the same time too or not). I haven't had any response from LL (I put in a ticket over a week ago) and I put in a Jira Support ticket with Firestorm, and still waiting to hear from them. So, I thought in the meantime some of you might have some suggestions as to what is going on. 8. Hi I am the owner of a group. I have seen various groups where the member lists are not visible - even for members. I would like to know how to hide the members list. thanks in advance
  9. Hello! I have been trying to run Firestorm because I love the features it has on it, but it lags horribly. No matter how low, or much I change the graphics it still lags oddly enough. While SecondLife Viewer runs great on high to ultra. On Firestorm I get about 20fps the highest.Admin doesn't change anything and I made sure my firewall wasn't blocking it. If anyone knows anything on what I can check or do please let me know. These are my specs:(All these are up to date.) Processor Intel Core i5-7400 Ram 16 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB Windows 10 64 bit
  10. Since the latest SL system upgrade that I performed a day ago, [ I upgraded to Second Life Release 5.1.2.512803 (64bit) ], I have been missing what appears to be most of my inventory. I did a clean install, and it seemed to go fine, except when I came in world and went to access a landmark. It's there I first noticed most of my items appeared to be gone, including landmarks, note cards, clothing, furniture, building items, ... you get the idea. Sometimes I am left with an empty looking folder, and other times whole sections of folders are missing. I say "appears to be missing", because if I log in with another SL compatible viewer, my inventory is all there. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, have you managed to fix it or clear it up? How did you fix it? If not, what should I do to clear up this problem? Does this mean I can't depend on using the SL Viewer anymore and have to switch to something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  11. I am currently unable to see a youtube on a screen in sl. I use the SL viewer and my browser is Firefox. Others can see if there use Firestorm and Firefox. I have updated - SL, Firefox, flash. I have no idea what to try to be able to see the feed in world, it is fine on the outside browser.
  12. Hello, I'm having trouble installing the Second Life Viewer - it continues to sit at 'checking network connection' on the installer. If I could get any advice, it'd be much appreciated!
