I'm new, everytime I come on I find it so hard to make friends so I get bored and leave. Things I like: videogames, books, nerdy things, animals, ocean life, anime. I still don't really know what I'm doing in game, but ill figure out eventually.

Hey all! I'm looking to make some new friends in SL! I've been in and out of Second Life many times before, but one thing I have yet to do here is establish connections as in the past, it felt like people either had their own thing going on, didn't want talk, etc. My Interest Include Anime, watching Wrestling, Video games, art(I don't draw sorry), astronomy and astrology, and also writing (I definitely need some motivation to get me up and writing more). These are 3 steps that a new or old player can use make friends on SL: 1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF When introducing yourself start off not with a hi or hello, from my experience those greetings are common and may be an indication of wanting something perverted. Also it's just simple or too common. Instead try starting with a full sentence saying hello, stating your Second Life name and making conversation. So the last time I played SL was in 8th grade (im now 23) so I don't really know how to go about making friends on here. This is a new fresh account so I don't have any friends yet ive just been spending L the past week... my bank account isnt happy... Hi, I have been in sl since 2010 and I still am unable to make sincere friends. I try to be nice, helpful, considerate, kind, etc but everytime I try or assume someone wants to be my friend they either use me or want pixel sex. Anyone have any advice I do go to clubs but once the host/ess and DJ say hi it pretty much is quiet. Look forward to any suggestions hugs

Hi. I'm looking to join an MC on SL. I'll be honest, I don't know if there is already a post like this or not, and if there is, I don't know how recent it is or how hot the thread is. I am also on a phone right now and don't want to waot for all of it to load. I ride a motorcycle in RL and I would like to belong to something here. Let me know of any ideas.
