Hello everyone, So I haven't been on Second life for a few months, and for the past few days since i have been logging in on the Firestorm Viewer more than HALF of my inventory items are gone . I used to have about 60,000 items .. and now its showing me only around 14,000. Landmarks, folders, lost and found .. all gone !!! when I first logged in my saved outfits were gone as well . I tried logging in with the default Second Life viewer and EVERYTHING works just fine there !! I am so confused.. and not sure what to do next ? I cleared cache ! I deleted and re-installed and firestorm viewer .. I have the latest update and all .. so so frustrated ! :< would be very happy if someone can solve this damn mystery 🙌

Hi, So i discover on monday that my gachas (non copy) items of one specific folder i made, the "accessories" one, were gone just the folders and pics are left... The copy items are still there nothing missing. I try cleaning my cache but it did nothing, I also verify my transaction history and no one took my items and I disconnect and reconnect but nothing. I also verify my trash folder and my found object but nothing and i try to get connected to another device, cleaning the cache and all but nothing... (all tested with official viewer and firestorm viewer) the number of items of my inventory seem unchange too. I contacted the support, for the moment they make me try to loading the latest version of the official viewer and cleaning the cache but nothing still. And today they put a script on the loading screen to repair a "corruption" but it make me log fast as usual and nothing change. I am waiting for other tests with the support ppl, but i wanted to know if someone here had lived the same experience as me and have any advices. How it looks for my floatie folder, some have still arrow on the front because it have pics Example of one folder : Thank you. Have a good day.

I lost half of my items in Firestorm and some are really valuable, does anyone have an idea how to fix this problem easily?

So one of these days I realized that the number of items on the inventory wasn't matching with the total count, even after adding the library. Since nothing "important" a.k.a that I remember existing seemed to be missing I just left it for when I had the patience to clear the inventory cache. I am using firestorm latest version. I have around 40k items (plus library) and it was showing around 44k items total. So I decided to do this today. I cleared the inventory cache, I manually cleared the inventory cache, and nothing seemed to change. So I logged onto SL viewer and two things happened. 15 new items were added to the count on the inventory folder and the total amount was now matching (it went down to about 39k). So are the items missing or are they not missing? I am confusion 😆. Firestorm keeps showing this extra 4k items, even after a cache clear. I have only encountered an "item not found in directory" once, for a tattoo that I never worn before. I have entirely too many stuff and nothing I use regurlaly seems to be missing, so I'm honestly just wondering why firestorm is showing these extra items, or if they're actually missing. I have followed firestorm's wiki on missing inventory, all items.

My account has been, in the past two times I logged on, lost as significant amount of inventory. I just spent 80+ dollars within the last 3 to 4 days making purchases. Not to make the hundreds upon hundreds prior. If the inventory cannot be returned, I think it only fair I am given back the funds lost. I have all the online records of it and can provide them. I'd rather have the merchandise returned though. Please fix this, and get back to me. Thank you.

There was a post in ANSWERS last night about someone losing half (45K) their inventory. I suspect that it is not "really" lost but just gone missing since that is a huge number and I don't remember seeing anything like that before. There is of course an official inventory loss help page but this morning the equivalent Firestorm page showed up on the login screen. I think it is much easier to understand and with Firestorm having the biggest by far piece of the viewer pie, I wanted to paste in the link here for others to hopefully find easily. My advice to the poster of last night was -- since she had apparently tried many tricks to get her inventory to appear -- to install a different viewer like the official Linden viewer if she was using a third party. That is at the bottom of the Firestorm list also. http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_missing_inventory
