Hello everyone, So I haven't been on Second life for a few months, and for the past few days since i have been logging in on the Firestorm Viewer more than HALF of my inventory items are gone . I used to have about 60,000 items .. and now its showing me only around 14,000. Landmarks, folders, lost and found .. all gone !!! when I first logged in my saved outfits were gone as well . I tried logging in with the default Second Life viewer and EVERYTHING works just fine there !! I am so confused.. and not sure what to do next ? I cleared cache ! I deleted and re-installed and firestorm viewer .. I have the latest update and all .. so so frustrated ! :< would be very happy if someone can solve this damn mystery 🙌

Hi, So i discover on monday that my gachas (non copy) items of one specific folder i made, the "accessories" one, were gone just the folders and pics are left... The copy items are still there nothing missing. I try cleaning my cache but it did nothing, I also verify my transaction history and no one took my items and I disconnect and reconnect but nothing. I also verify my trash folder and my found object but nothing and i try to get connected to another device, cleaning the cache and all but nothing... (all tested with official viewer and firestorm viewer) the number of items of my inventory seem unchange too. I contacted the support, for the moment they make me try to loading the latest version of the official viewer and cleaning the cache but nothing still. And today they put a script on the loading screen to repair a "corruption" but it make me log fast as usual and nothing change. I am waiting for other tests with the support ppl, but i wanted to know if someone here had lived the same experience as me and have any advices. How it looks for my floatie folder, some have still arrow on the front because it have pics Example of one folder : Thank you. Have a good day.

I can rez things but then I can't take them or delete them. In one instance an object that is no copy or modify I can see it it is still on the parcel but it is also in my lost and found folder after I got an error that could not be derezed. It is also taking a long time to rez my avatar. Can't take anything back right now. It is very frustrating. Please help!

Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone else had this issue? I have had this issue for a while now and i thought clearing cache would solve it but it hasn't. How does one get their items back before redelivering each and every single item? This folder had some stuff from way back in 2012 and I'm so sad seeing it empty. Would love input, thanks!

This issue has been resolved and can be closed. The apparent failure of llAllowInventorDrop(FALSE) was because the non-group avatar I was testing with had been given blanket permission in Contacts > Friends to edit my objects. After I removed those permissions and waited 6 hours ( just in case it takes time to percolate through the system) everything is working fine again. ================ I'm a reasonably good scripter in LSL but i cannot get llAllowInventoryDrop(FALSE) to work for me. Symptoms: once I set llAllowInventoryDrop(TRUE) one time in my script in a simple prim, it doesn't seem to matter after that whether I set llAllowInventoryDrop(FALSE) or not, it's always true. Does anyone recognize this problem? I'm trying to make a group-specific notecard drop-box script, and want to turn on or off inventory dropping depending on the group tag the user is wearing. Thanks in advance for any info, pointers to documentation or bug-reports, or other wisdom! =============== OK, in attempting to make a tiny script that demonstrated this problem, I realized i have a different problem: nothing I do makes my objects so they cannot be modified by other avatars! This may be why I have the original problem, that llAllowInventoryDrop(FALSE) was not working to stop other people from dropping objects into my prim's inventory. ok - tracked this down to my having checked "Friend can edit, delete, or take objects" as permissions in my FRIENDS tab!

I have some odd items in my inventory that just reproduce when I try to delete them. They go by the innocuous names of New Shirt and New Pants. Do I just rez a second inventory where I can transfer my good stuff or something else? I would like to keep my good items and discard those inventory disasters. And it may take a while, but I'm okay with that to get rid of those rascals..
