  1. How to deal with dishonest buyers? a few days ago I received a 1star review in which my product was called non-working junk and urged not to spend money. within a few hours I contacted the buyer. I thanked for the review, made a refund and asked what exactly does not work. but the buyer refused to explain and stated that they had already purchased another item. I flagged review and after waiting a day I turned to support. I was advised to flag review. omg, of course I flagged it before contacting them! who do they take me for ?! I replied that I had already flagged it. I was told to wait. I have been waiting for the third day and am in a nervous state. yes, i take it serious. once, when I myself put a three-star review, some "merchant" pounced on me with threats and foul language. of course i removed it (now i dont know - why?!) Really the better you treat people, the worse they treat you ?! What can be done even in such a situation? I do not see any other way out, except in violation of the rules to rearrange the item on sale. just a pity the other three five-star reviews and the loss of rating. of course, this is my alt. I’ll add that I made a comment to the review, with the same appeal to explain what does not work. in response received only appreciation for a full refund. if the conflict is settled, well, be you human, remove the review !!! I am really thinking of stop giving refunds and customer support at all! Thanks for reading!

  4. Hi all, I have having a bit of trouble with other avatars who put listings on Marketplace and then use my brand name (and other brands) in their keywords to skew results. I checked the TOS carefully and it reads: Per TOS: "Keyword spam is the use of words (such as brand names, item names, or other terms) that have nothing to do with the item listed so that the listing will appear in search results. Keyword spam is not allowed because it clutters the SL Marketplace and makes buying and selling more difficult. In addition" so I duly flagged the items some time back (months not weeks from memory) for keyword spam as the products were not mine, nor any relation to my work or authorised by me etc. Anyway nothing happened for a long time, so I thought to raise a support ticket to ask them to check. They response I got was to flag the listings. I explained they are already flagged (so I can't reflag). Support then pasted again to flag the item and that they can't comment on the issue due to privacy concerns. I have now as a last ditch attempt asked if support can escalate to Dakota as I don't really know what else to do and I don't believe they understand (or more fairly are equipped to deal with this sort of support request). Have I approached this the right way? Or should I be doing a DMCA as technically my brand name is a copyright work product. Now this is where I start to think I should pay the 400 USD for the US trademark on the brand (it's 12 years old) as perhaps that would help? Bit confused - welcome any suggestions or whether really if you flag and it doesn't resolve it's just a write off.
  5. So, I have had some gacha items flagged by a user, or users, and taken down. The reason I am given is "The item has been unlisted due to Spam or Disallowed Listing Practices" Ok so, my items were listed, and stated it was a Gacha item. It was not spam, because I only had 1 listed of that type, and no duplicates of that same type/color. I am not sure what is "disallowed", since that is completely vague and there was no comment from the Linden that OK'd removing my items. Obviously a competitor is flagging these gacha items, because it's been the same gacha item, and I've had friends tell me they've had their items flagged, too. I don't want to keep re-listing my item just to be flagged again, in fear eventually it's going to result in a ban or something. The other issue is that the Lindens aren't doing their job properly reviewing these flags. I read in another post that Lindens actually review the flags before removing a listing from MP.. so this is extremely shady. If a Linden is going to review something to remove it, there should be an actual comment from the Linden explaining exactly why the decision was made, and a way to dispute it when it is a false flagging. Not an automated message that leaves the person 90% of the time still wondering why it happened - especially in the case when the merchant was doing nothing wrong or shady to begin with. I have never spammed the Marketplace with gacha items. If I have the same color/style of item, I always add it to the appropriate inventory of that item listing. Also, these people flagging need to be punished. They are the ones up to shady business techniques! SADLY we merchants do not get the name of the people who are flagging our items to even be able to report them. Please get your stuff together, LL - this kind of thing shouldn't be happening to legitimate merchants and resellers who are following rules!
  6. Recently, a marketplace item listing of mine was flagged due to span or disallowed listing practices. How can I get in touch with a Linden to discuss this? I can find no option for a support ticket. This is the first time I've ever needed one, in fact! I was pretty sure that my listing met the guidelines. If it didn't, then I need clarification from someone official so that I can make sure to comply going forward. So... how do I get in touch with a Linden?
  7. I received an email stating that two of my items are being flagged and there is no notice as to why. Who/what department do i talk to about this issue? Thank you Cennie Daines
  8. How to make a flexi flag? So that one side is attached to the flagpole. I have the whole flag fluctuating, but I need one side only. Help.
