  1. Hello, i'm Nicholas and i'm learning how to make clothes for SL, i have a big problem and i don't know how to fix, i make everything right for make a fitted pants, and in blender i saw everything ok, when i make the upload for SL the pant not fit well, i really need help. i tryed first make to belleza jake mesh body, and i thought that maybe could be the dev kit, but i tryed with others bodys and the same happen, so is not a problem in dev kits i think. I know that in sl image is missing some parts of pants but the problem is that not fit well.
  2. I was following a few avastar tutorials for adding physics to an original mesh model but all of them go from where I was, finishing weight painting, to going to a category called 'fitting' and generating weights for physics. That's where the red physics bones show up and they continue from there. But my avastar is lacking this option. What did I do wrong? Is there an update I'm missing, a setting, some sort of priming for the model to be done first? Alternatively, is there an alternate way to add physics bones in blender that will work with second life's physics? Other people Me I am using a second life skeleton, if that helps any.
  3. Is Anyone could make the Tana From Fire Emblem outfit for the Busty Fitted Kemono Torso? by Blender? You could make the Cosplay for the Busty Fitted Kemono Torso As well. via Blender.
  4. Hey? Anyone can Make the Rumia Tingel,Sistine Fibel Cosplay for the Fitted Kemono Torso and Rei's Chest? It's wonderful cosplay clothing ever on the SL. It's not exist in the SL. only some people's Dream.
  5. I'm having problems getting a very simple fitted mesh skirt to work properly on the Belleza Jake mesh kit body using the Avastar plugin in Blender 2.79. I tried making a super simple plain pencil-skirt for him, just to test whether the fitted sliders will work and the mesh will fit different shapes... For the most part, it does upload fine and it is rigged normally and in addition, follows the "Muscle" sliders which means the "Fitted" is working, but... ...There are still some sliders which just won't assign properly both in Blender and after uploading into SL. After I manually weight them, the sliders for things like the Butt and more importantly, the Saddle Bags work but, have too-little effect on the skirt for it to match/follow the body, and they only work somewhat if I manually weight them to the vertex groups of "PELVIS" and "BUTT" on the skirt, and they are both weighted in Blender all the way to red. I did use the "Shrink Wrap" modifier for this, so it has a nice snug fit in Blender by default, so I really think it's just weighting issues. On the Avastar website, it does mention that it does NOT recommend manual weighting, so I have a feeling something is going wrong if it's not automatically being weighted to those sliders (while it works fine for the "leg muscles" slider). Is there any other way to do this, or to further strengthen the weighting beyond the maximum? I have already read through all of the fitted mesh guides on the Avastar website like 3 times or more, so I am not getting anymore help from that site, so please don't link me to that. Or, is this just the normal Fitted Mesh process for creating 3D mesh clothing? I am experienced in making non-fitted rigged mesh clothing, and so I am familiar with how much work it is to weight that, but... this is going to be another whole level of frustration and time-consumption over the non-fitted rigged mesh's already-long weighting process. It's really discouraging, so I actually really hope it's something with the program/plugin that is causing issues instead... How are some creators making flawlessly-fitting Fitted mesh clothing that doesn't even require hiding the body with alpha?? Is there some trick to it that Avastar doesn't explain? Do they duplicate the body itself and extrude on that to create the clothing?? I actually tried testing that out, and it did NOT work at all because modifying the vertices of the mesh at all after duplicating the body just completely gets rid of some of the sliders such as the butt and saddle bag sliders which are giving me problems in the first place. Not to mention, the duplicated body would not export due to errors (though the un-edited body could be uploaded just fine with all of the sliders in-tact).
  6. So I am testing a fitted mesh custom avatar, and it was going well when I left the second life skeleton alone, but then I decided "what if I needed to adjust the bone structure slightly, what would that do?" and I could have sworn I heard that it might be possible since people talk about giant and small avatars which I assume are custom avatar bone structures? Basically the avatar looks like below, and a posed version of it in blender: (just to note, when I export it to a .dae I select the option so it works for second life, and I make sure to select both the mesh and the armature so it exports both) I was testing both major deformations and slight deformations, (the left leg was an anthro/furry wolf leg structure type, the right arm is to test what it will do with the slight deformation of the bone, and the left arm is to test if I made a major bone alteration the arm and bones are scaled to be 1.5 times longer). When importing, it looks like this in the importer, which is how it's supposed to look. so the arm looks like it will work, and I select "keep joint positions", and both "include skin weight"s, and the idle animation seems to work perfectly fine in the preview, but then when I import it and apply it to my avatar it looks as such (I'll post it with and without my avatar under it, so you can see that it's shoved the bones back up the arm, and on the image where it's edited with red lines, I've tried to outline the areas where it's obvious the lower arm was shoved back up the arm) (edit: the last one is a new screencap that shows how it's just slapping the bones back to normal positions, since on the avatar's left arm it's just forcing them back) and at this point I'm a bit lost on what to do, since the preview works but then in-game it shoves the bones back up. (the only reason the hand is longer than my avatar's is because it was scaled, but it's still nowhere near the length it should be) Any ideas or thoughts?
  7. I would like to to find someone that is able to build this outfit for me. I would like a hood cloak that would not only cover me and hide my body, but also able to hide my face with a shadow of some sort (if its not possible then its fine). But heres the tricky thing, I would also like the hood to be scripted with the following animations: hood can come off to reveal face (pretty easy one), and the ability to animate it to make it look like I'm ripping of the cloak and hood (I know this will be tricky so if you can do it thats fine). I was Playing megaman zero 2 on the game boy advance and the opening of him walking with a cloak and ripping it off for a fight looked super cool so I want something like that. Please contact me in SL if you are interested in the job.
  8. Hello, I am looking for a download for the avatar skeleton including the collision bones. I have tried the link on the wiki site in multiple browsers but the link appears to be broken. Does anyone know where I can download the mesh with all the bones as a file that can be imported to blender? thanks
  9. Hello! <3 I'm working on updating an old bento body to work with more shape sliders, but I'm running into a couple issues. One of them is that the butt and belly shape sliders seem to both affect the PELVIS bone. So, although I need to use the PELVIS bone to weight the belly, this also means the butt shape slider will scale the belly up. I've also noticed that the BUTT volume bone doesn't work as I want it to (scales left to right rather than back), so someone recommended I use the PELVIS bone for the butt too, which works fine, but also means the belly slider would scale the butt up and vice versa. Is this working as intended? Thank you for your time!
  10. Hello, everyone. I've been struggling with transparent textures blurring after I upload them. When I test the textures in local, they look fine, but after I upload the very same texture, the texture is blurred as if it isn't fully rezzed. My textures are 1024 x 1024. I have made these textures for a fitted mesh item, but I can see the texture itself is blurry before putting it on the mesh, so it is definitely something within the texture itself and not the mesh. Plus this is ONLY happening for transparent textures. My non transparent textures upload just fine. So definitely not the mesh. I've been saving and following the same practices I always do for transparent textures and I've never run into this problem before. I am hoping someone out there may know what is causing this, and how I can fix it. 11. I am looking for an experienced Mesh Maker that can make either 100% Mesh or Fitted Mesh clothing for males. I am seeking something along the lines of what is attached to this post. I am trying to find good Medieval clothing for Males but I am staying away from the normal attire that I constantly see. I am willing to negotiate on cost if need-be. And if you are wondering, yes these outfits are from "Game of Thrones" they are from the region of Dorne, which is south of Kings Landing and High Garden. Please contact me with detailed information. Because I can not find any 'Full Perm' outfits that I like to place my high resolution textures on. And yes I am a texture artist. Please send message [NC] in-world to RivenDamascus
  12. (I'm copying and pasting as I was told you guys would have more of a knowledge base and it'd be best posted here ) Hello, This is my first time on SL and my first time wanting to create something for it. I joined basically so i could do this as i think it's the coolest thing in the world right now. As I tend to learn by asking and figuring out the basics. I have a few questions before I get into making my mesh. Is there a specific poly limit? What about size? how does one rig the mesh, is there a default skeleton? I want to make a humanoid with a tail, can the tail be included in the mesh? I know i should use "Collada" (using blender) and export as .DAE but is there anything else format wise to be wary of? what about making weight maps and texture maps? Same as regular or are there constraints I should be wary of? let me know, and if you have any links to useful tutorials and information send them my way Thanks guys!
  13. I am trying to download SL official avatars in .dae or .blend formats to work with but most links are broken. The few I found are incomplete or the uploader does not recognize skin weights. Where can I find the official files? Thank you!
