I have thought of starting a new pictures thread (yep, as if there's not enough of them ) One focussed in inexpensive clothes, jewelry, hair, make up, shoes, skins or mesh bodies and heads, whatever that despite being free or inexpensive are quality, well made items that make us (Both men and women) look awesome. I wonder though if it'd be ok to add in here too the name and brand of the items we wear in the pictures, or it'd be considered advertising and therefore not allowed; well, please someone let me know, and play with me... Come on! Add your pics wearing those inexpensive items that make you look awesome! For starters, there's my picture. Total cost of the whole attire (Not counting mesh body, mesh head and head applier) 101 ld . Most of that amount belongs to the the price of the gloves, if you remove them, the sum lowers to 1 ld

Hello everyone, I'm looking for pencil dresses that fall to knee length, with sleeves that extend beyond the shoulder, or full length sleeves, preferably with a sweetheart, Queen Anne or square neckline. I used to have a few of these when I was in IMVU, but I've never found any in Second Life, only sleeveless or capped sleeve dresses. These tend to have very high, covered necklines or very low, plunging ones. If anybody could help me out and point out some dresses here in Second Life, I would greatly appreciate it. - Charlotte Sinclair

Hello all! I've never done this before, but was wondering if there is any fantasy/medieval woman's mesh clothing creators out there who could create a couple custom dresses for me. I'm role-playing on the official LOTR RP Sim as Arwen, and looking to get a handful of her dresses made in Second Life. I'm not sure what the pay is usually for these sort of things and this is all a bit new to me. I would like a resume of some creations if I we go forward with the project of course. I currently wear the Maitreya body. Once we go through the process, I can share some of the looks I want done. Anyway, thanks for reading and take care all. -

In my constant quest to wrangle my inventory I thought I'd make a bunch of sub-folders for different types of dress. Although you can find lists of dress types they're not always super helpful when applied to what I own. I'm not always sure what defines each type of dress, and there's a lot of weird structural styles that I don't have words for. I eventually went with broader situational categories- historical dresses, costume dresses, casual dresses...but now about 75% of my dresses are in the 'bar and club' folder (which originally had a more blunt name). So I'm reconsidering the way I organize. Anyone got any tips?
