Hi I ran into a problem after trying to import my own creation into second life. While I am not new to 3D modelling with Blender and other programs, I have always only created things for fun. Now I have decided to import few of those creations into Second Life but the materials I have used do not display in the preview at all. I have used the Cycles Render and I would like to get some help from you people that have done it before. How do I solve my issue with Materials not displaying in Second Life after Exporting a Collada file from Blender Rendered in Cycles? Any help would be really appreciated and Thanks in Advance
So I managed to fight with the new Hasbro like interface of Blender and re-learned all the shortcuts and was making some headway in it... But when I went to bake out some normals and AO and Diffuse, the resultant bakes were horrible. Am i the only one with this? I'll return back to 2.79 for functional purposes, but now the UI looks old to me, lol.. Can't win. Got my copy of Substance Painter 2019 at the ready now.. perhaps I'll join the masses and start using proprietary software like everyone else...
Just a simple and easy question about the amount of samples for 512x512 image size. I have been struggling getting the right quality textures, if I can know the right amount of samples that way I would only do minimal work on PS afterwards. Thanks in advance! I have the default 200 = samples 32 = preview
Forgot to post this yesterday (I think it was yesterday LOL). More complex baking procedures as well as how to get rid of those tacky seems on cylinder shapes. Two places to watch.
