Hello everyone! When a computer on my network is using Second Life, it causes all other computers/devices on the network to lag to the point of being unusable. While Second Life is being played, I can run a ping to www.google.com and the moment someone moves to a new sim, etc. in Second Life ping response times increase to 2000-3000ms. My internet connection is 1 gbps down, though generally we see around 700-800 Mbps down. I am using the Firestorm viewer. I have tried Second Life viewer as well. Hello, I can't seem to resolve disconnection issue over new FTTH connection, before I had ADSL for years, it use to work fine. But after upgrading to FTTH my viewer disconnects every one minute after login, everything loads fine at login, runs smooth, but viewer disconnects after one minute, screen grays out with message, region maybe facing issues, check your internet connection. I have tried bandwidth help tips page on Firestorm website, its not helping, 1500 is not working, nor 500 or anything less or above that. Also, I have tried all viewers, but same issue. Hey Guys! So I'm an old user, trying to revive my over 6 year old account on the same exact laptop it used to run so amazingly on. I've watched a few youtube videos with tricks and tips, which maybe helped about 1% or maybe that's just my optimism.. 🤷🏼♀️ So if anyone here knows of ways they found to work with them, pleasee share!
