    a heads up..

    Just thought I would give everyone a heads up about a new item that was just released on the marketplace. I am not going to actually say what it is, or post the link to the store. I am not trying to actually promote or advertise the item just let people know its out there in the wilds now and you might want to think twice about where you go and who is around you and if you have your relay on auto or not and if you know how to use the safeword and if it can be used by chat command too. There are a lot of people who think and claim and try to make others think and believe that an auto relay gives implied full consent to everyone about everything for any reason ever and they do not ever have to ask; that an auto relay totally bypasses anyone's limits hard or soft (the unwritten rule about relay use that does not apply to everyone that uses a relay in auto mode just because you want to assume it does). {Don't be one of those kinds of people. Or face your own consequence that person may report you for abuse/griefing}. That it is their right to be disrespectful and show a lack of common decency and ask first in an im before doing something with someone who would otherwise be totally unaware of what was being done or by who or how without first getting to know the person and if it is ok or not beforehand. The item in question is a hud that allows one person to take control(possess) the other player without any warning of any kind. it can let them spoof talk as you through the object, which could be deceptive or manipulative to anyone that doesn't realize it is not them talking but someone else through them, through the object. Remember not all players yet know how to tell the difference when an object is speaking. Plus with object you do not even know if it is the person being affected by the object or someone else that is speaking. Which can be seen as deceptive and shady or manipulative and outright lying trying to cause the other person grief or humiliation or embarrassment or to degrade them in front of others without knowing if this person is even in to such things. It will hide the other person where they are completely invisible to anyone else around except by looking at the map or nearby list. so you wont know who it was that was doing it. So start watching if two people come in together or shortly apart from each other but you can only ever see one of them. also you might want to consider going into options and setting the no-spoof option which sets noname infront of objects that talk, so you know its an object talking; and setting a different color for object talk from the normal collar, so you can know when an object is talking as someone else for those that don't know that this can be done. I dont have the hud myself yet, so I cannot confirm but I think it lets you move them around and even tp them too, and it blocks or redirects chat so they cannot say anything unless they can use and know how to use ((OOC)) which not everyone in sl even in the use of rlv knows this will let you speak around chat redirects/gags/blocks. Plus anyone using marine kelly's hardcore rlv viewer cannot even do this. It apply lots of other restrictions to the person to making it hard for them to do anything but go along until the other person decides to let them free or they safeword or logout and be called a 'cheater' or 'coward' or other various degrading terms to try and shame the person so they wont do it again later with them or someone else. The members of the group and the creator do not care how anyone thinks or feels about the concerns that it might be used for greifing or abuse or harassment and will actively tell people they need to grow up and get a thicker skin or stop being a pansy because you can just safeword or logout. They forget that some might not be able to safeword or logout of rlv depending upon the viewer or relay they have. Or some people new to rlv may not know how to safeword or remember how to turn rlv back off, and that its their own fault and not their responsibility or accountability for what someone does with the product and that it doesn't need any warning system to let someone know what was being done before it was done. forcing a person to have to just accept and deal and go and flow with what ever happened until they could either log out or safeword if the person who did it would not release them. The creator of the device makes another object and not sure if this same feature was added to the new object that allows you to prevent someone from being able to touch their hud or collar to safeword, so if you didnt know how to use the ((OOC)) safeword your only other option would be you were forced to log out of rlv or just continue until the other person lets you go if you asked and they refused. I find this sort of thought pattern lacking in professional ethics. Not all hud relays have a chat safeword or a safeword that can be triggered by ((OOC)). And not everyone new to rlv knows or understands this. they even mentioned making about a new relay that will help improve the performance and effectiveness of their items. which makes me lead to think they intend to make a relay with no black list or safeword and possibly always on auto. to make it harder for anyone to ever escape without logging out which then someone will cry and claim 'cheating' at that point. when making a relay with out a safeword or that is only auto is a form of cheating too. by giving them no other choice but to continue or log out that is a form of mindcontrol and abuse and manipulation which not everyone is into or should have to be subjected too by these kinds of people. logging out of rlv to get out of a situation that you did not agree to or did not want to happen is not cheating. trying to claim it is, is cheating and deceptive and manipulation and gaslighting. same with safewording to end something that you no longer consent to or agree to continue to allow to happen for any reason. some of these people with this new device will even not let you free if asked to force you to have to safeword or log out so they can then claim you 'cheated' to try and shame and embarrass or degrade and humiliate you so you wont do it again later; a form of negative reinforcement behavior modification and mind control so they can make you more biddable, more useable, more abuseable and eventually made numb to the experience so they do even more things and you wont complain about it. Which not everyone is into but they don't care, they believe it is their right or privilege or entitlement to do these things just because you had rlv on and had a relay set to auto. Which is not the truth and never was but many try and make people think it is. so heads up, if a friend or nearby person or acquaintance starts acting or talking in ways totally not like them be sure to ask them before just jumping the gun and assuming it was them. my biggest concern is that people will use this to force tp people into G or M sims while nude and then act out as them to try and get them banned or AR'd by people in the sim as a means to harass and grief the individual that was effected and stir up drama for the people that had to witness such behavior and actions. thinking it was funny and completely okay for them to do this. So again, heads up their is a new beast in the wilds that might cause drama in your sims. know your collar or relay safeword and how to use it if needed.
