I purchased a new laptop and everything on it is newer and more up to date than my old one and for some reason I can't use advanced lighting? I use Firestorm SOO I tried SL viewer and it allows me to use advanced lighting but I cannot use SL viewer I HATE IT! I can't get used to it and everything about Firestorm feels a lot better than SL viewer. So anyway, my question is is there anyway at all I can turn on advanced viewer in Firestorm, there's literally no option I can't tick it I take A LOT of pics and I use the body shine a lot so I really need it to work lol 😫 I found something on h

Hi there - I wonder if someone can help me. I have a macbook pro and recently it seems whenever i try and take photos (particularly landscape ones) using advanced lighting and shadows - as soon as i click snapshot and the window comes up it crashes as it tries to produce the pic for me to then click save to disc. So I never get to the save to disc point. Does anyone have any recommendations or a list of setting for photography that best suit the macbook and still enable shadows etc. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated. -
I'm' having an issue right now that I didn't have before where when I apply a specular map to my mesh it behaves as though it has an alpha texture on it wherein it starts clipping with other alpha objects that are behind it. I've uploaded the maps as both PNG and Targa and made sure there is no way the specular map is alpha in any way. Anyone else experiencing this?
