  2. It means that LL has decided to subsidise users from countries which charge VAT. They can not avoid handing the relevant monies over to the appropriate fiscal authorities, so they are effectively giving a discount, thereby discriminating against those, such as US citizens, who are not affected by such a taxation regime. How do you feel about that, you 75% of LL customers who are paying more than the subsidised 25%?

How about: "Why, at 13:00 SLT yesterday, were the top fifteen threads (with one exception) more appropriate to the Answers, Your Avatar, Technical or other forums, even external sites?" Because some people are idiots. Next question. I disagree vehemently with your analysis. I would posit that most people are idiots.

I'm saying that there is room for a little more customization or better facial expressions (a few heads already use this stuff), but you'll never see a mesh head in Second Life that can use all the shape sliders. They simply weren't made to be used that way in the ancient times. In another universe you could do it.
  9. This thread is a conclusive demonstration that if something isn't worth doing, it's certainly not worth doing twice.

I'm sorry i bored you. i was hoping to avoid a scripting solution so i didn't want to post it there, i thought it was a pretty basic 'general' question so i thought it made sense to post it here (as this is called general discussion), and from the subject line it's pretty obvious what i'm asking, so if it is not of interest to you please skip it so you aren't bothered. i hope your day gets better than it was. :matte-motes-asleep-2: Best wishes, ~Bleue Seems your question did create some discussion I try extremely hard to convert boring, inappropriate threads into interesting discussions; it is perceptive of you to notice. ~Heue

Of course, since it's a virtual world, there is no magnetic north to work from. Since it's a digital virtual world the concepts of East and West have no validity whatsoever.

  15. Just rectifying the thread title.
