Hi! I am a member of a group that holds several sims. Normally the rent is paid by another member, but due to RL issues, that member may not be able to log on for some time. I was given landmarks to the rentboxes. How can I determine the amount due on each and the payment schedule?

Hi! I'm trying to create a web site to help promote a new sim we are creating. I would like to include screen captures of the sim on the web page. But I start work, I would like to verify that it is OK to use SL screen captures in this way. It seems like it must be; I have certainly seen others doing this very thing. But I guess I am just ultra cautious when it comes to legal matters. Can someone from Linden Labs provide me with this assurance? Or better yet, point me at a readable (by a non-lawyer) copy of LL's fair use policy with regards to images? Thanks! Kai Shock

Hi! When I receive announcement emails from Second Life Groups, there are never any attachments, even though many of the messages specifically say 'this message has an attachment'. What is missing is often a URL linking to an event or location within Second Life. I DO receive attachments on emails from other sources using the same account and webmail viewer. Is this a settings issue, or a known problem? Is there a work-around? Thanks!

Dear Folks- Last year, the Ice Bucket Challenge (which started in the Boston area where I live in RL) went viral and raised a lot of money for a very worthy cause (ALS research). It is going to be run again this year. It occurred to me that someone at Linden Labs, ((or some public-spiritied individual with the necessary skills) might create an Ice Bucket Challenge animation for SL. It could be sold through the market place, and the proceeds donated to the ALS Ice Bucket fund. It seems like a fairly simple way to do something positive for the RL community, and to raise the profile of SL in the public awareness. Would someone like to step up for this task?
