I'm having the same problem. I tried to run a poetry class last night, and my voice would not work. I'm supposed to run a poetry reading today but it will have to cancel it if the mics do not work.

Hello, I am interested in your teaching position. My avatar is just a little over 30 days old, however I am a tutor in real life. In fact, I joined Second Life to pursue more teaching opportunities. In July 2013, I finished my bachelors degree in English literature. And, this year in February, I finished my Master of education degree in secondary education. I will begin student teaching in September of this year to complete my licensing for the state of Colorado. Professionally, I have a lot of teaching experience. First of all, I was a teacher's assistant through AmeriCorps for a kindergarten class in 2012. While in graduate school, I volunteered with Reading Partners as a reading tutor. Since graduating this year, I have been a substitute teacher and an English-language arts tutor through the Denver School of Science and Technology. Teaching is my life and I love every minute that I am there with my students and helping them to understand the material. I would love to be considered for the position and if I am too young for you, I would love to reapply when I am the right age.
