And the weirdest thing is that when I enter the regular page url of the Youtube video it plays on the object just fine. A bit choppy, but it does start and play. But again, SL overrides the url and writes in another url for the video. Now what can I do? Is anyone else having this problem?

I downloaded the one you mentioned. It works with a Flickr slideshow now. The Youtube video now shows on the object but won't play when I click the play button. I have it set for autoplay. I try to add a video to an object, but the result is that I don't have Adobe Flash or an HTML5 browser.
