Thank you for your fast response. I figured that using 3 different textures (2048x2048) would lag. Your response makes a lot of sense now. Especially mentioning that local textures are from my PC. I read something just now that SL forces a compression after you pay the fee. I am very relieved now that is the case

Greetings, I am a creator on second life. I have some trouble with textures appearing clear. I previewed my denim texture via LOCAL, its clear+sharp. How I made it and want it. Once I upload/pay the texture, apply it on my mesh..it appears blurry and compressed. I am very confused and frustrated. :( Does anyone have an idea why ? I know the max resolution size is 2048x2048 or 1024x1024. I did both resizes and no avail. I even attempted 2 clean installs and clearing cache, checking texture debugging settings VIA advanced firestorm settings. Could it be my mesh? Please see attachments. 1. Local denim texture 2. For the past two weeks, i've been experiencing a issue with my voice. Sometimes i cant even connect to "voice server"...even relogging and restarting my computer doesn't fix this issue (it used to work before). It's really annoying because i can't hear my friends or go communicate besides typing. The funny thing is, I think its this new PC i bought..windows 10. Lenovo it doesnt work. But on my ACER all in one pc, it works perfectly fine..windows 7 can someone help me? tried everything; debugging, setting microphone, reboot router..

Good morning all, so yesterday I've purchased a new all in one PC. It's by Lenovo, it has a AMD graphics / hard drive. (I didn't know this would be a problem when it comes to SL) After some research on what I can do to fix this problem and hopefully view mesh on SL successfully. I was told to download AMD Catalyst 15.1.11? , I did that , then I researched some more. I stumbled on a blog that told me I should slide some .dll files into the installation folder for Firestorm ..and it should work. In all good news, the only mesh item I could see was my mesh head at this point .. did I fix the bug? Should I wait longer to the mesh to load ? Or is there any solutions? Also, I researched some more and I found out that the latest AMD catalyst versions (15.1.11 and up) still doesn't patch the bug? Is there any solution here?

Thank you for your response, but I think there is another problem why I can't see mesh. I think it's my anti virus as well. I currently have webroot secure. I'll give you an update when I come home from work and continue to repair

Hello , I am facing a mesh transparency issue. So this mesh I got custom made, it's a long baggy jersey , I wanted to make it cut short. So basically what I did on Photoshop, I deleted the bottom part , made it transparent, saved it in PNG. When I upload the texture ,slide it in the mesh. Click alpha blending ..the changes are what I wanted. But , when I wear pants it cuts off my other mesh pants , so it's a big gap in my waist and stomach. But when I right click on edit mode it goes back to where I want it. Or if I scroll out and scroll back in. I did this before on my previous mesh , and this never occurred. Could this be fixed in world ? Or inside blender. Please let me know. thanks !!!,

hello, i am currently dealing with a problem with my avatar. Whenever I walk/run , my avatar slides and then flips for a while, after that i float. Its very frustrating because I am not sure if its something i am wearing or, its the lag of the sim i am in. I have a suspession that it might be a mesh body i had put on yesterday..i dont kno i need help with this. PS; FIRESTORM USER.
