I actually posted this in another forum, but re-thought and put it in the correct forum. I'm posting on here looking for a friend/"partner in crime". I'm not looking for a sugar daddy or sugar momma, nor am I looking to become a sugar momma. I've recently come back to SL after a hiatus. I'm west coast USA, but I work night shift so I'm on at odd hours. I am off on Monday pst and Tuesday pst but I do play ESO and do RL activities. I love to explore, fish (7 seas) shop (of course) like diverse genre's of music, dance and play games (greedy, skippy, hand and foot, and more , roleplay- but not all the time. SL can be somewhat lonely if you don't have someone to do things with. I prefer voice chat when possible but I'm not averse to typing if you can decipher typonese. This weeked I took my friend to a club that I've been to and enjoyed many times. Normally I go for a certain dj friend since I enjoy his sets but this time there was a different dj who I've only heard a partial set once before. During the course of his show he made some racial remarks that I found offensive. I told my friend that what was said bothered me and that if he wanted to leave we could go. The remarks were about men of a certain race, not going to go into what was said but was offensive. We stayed for a short time longer then left, discussing it later he said that yes altho it did offend him he wasn't going to let anyone run him out of a club. I've since left the club group but am wondering would you notify the management as to what went on? I really feel like I should since perhaps it was "all in good fun" it was in poor taste and completely unnecessary. Thanks for the feedback.

Well I should I do see people, I just can't seem to find folks to "talk" to . Have gone to clubs and feel like an outsider...probably just me *shrugs*

Hiyas! I've been in SL now for around 3 months and I am having a hard time meeting people who are around when I am. I work nights during the week and am off Friday and Saturday. I've met a few people-hooray Saturday night discussion group but most of the time when the meeting is over, everyone is off to bed. I live in the Pacific time zone but as I said I work nights so even my days off I'm usually up all night and sleep for several hours during the day. I'm a night owl on my days off. I speak English and very little Spanish. I am an older than many here (51 not shy about that) and yes someday's I feel all of my 51 years and others I feel older or much younger than that. I've been told I'm funny and "hip" If that can be counted as a recommendation. I like most kinds of music, love to play games, chat, shop,fish, goof off and explore but am relatively shy until I get to know you. SL is fun but it gets mighty lonely doing hunts or shopping or going dancing by myself. Not looking for romance I have that in my first life . Just friends, companionship, conversation and laughter. Look forward to hearing from anyone-age, sex,sexual orientation, race doesn't matter. I have an open mind and a big heart to share with others. Akalee (pronounced Ah-kay-lee)
