Just gonna bump my idea here... Space Station living. A central community hub with activities in the middle, with branches from it leading to private homes of various sizes and levels of spacy-ness. Could be super cozy while also being...in space! Vast space outside, rather than a "space city" although I could live with that. Honestly...I would consider bumping my membership up for that IF it was done well. 🫢

Yah I hope they are low key listening. Because as much as I love that theme, I'm not upping my membership for it and likely won't for any other theme, even if it's one I really covet.

I love so many of these ideas, especially the Gothic and Santa Fe'! I still vote for a Sci Fi theme, with a central space station and space homes, etc. What concerns me is that every cool new neighborhood going forward will be for Premium Plus. I support the economy by being Premium already and shopping like a dervish. Why's all the cool new stuff require me to have a higher level of membership? Probably an unpopular opinion but I can't be the only one who feels this way. I know, first world problems. Still tho. 😒

Welp, looked at the photos and the ranch theme is very cute! I've done ranch/farm homes in the past on rental land and I have to say I love the theme even though I have a disappoint that it's not Sci Fi/Outer Space this time. That said... I don't like it enough to up my membership level from Premium to Premium plus. That's just too much for me. Not gonna lie, I'm a little peeved too that the theme isn't available to us lowly, plain old premium folk. 😒

I haven't seen anything regarding a new Linden Homes reveal. Did I miss it or is that only during the Homes and Garden thing? Side note: I would dearly love to see a outer space theme, little space ship homes with a central 'space station' as the public meeting place.

I'm sure this post is gonna bring me some smoke but anyway... The lag thing is never. going. away. for us in SL. It's been a topic of angst the entire time I've been in SL (circa 2006). We all know at this point how to deal with it the best we can from our end. A couple years ago I invested in a high end gaming rig and guess what? Half of the Avi at the opening ceremony were STILL clouds or nekkid BoM monsters. I mean 🤷‍♀️ Conversely I had no issues at all at the shopping area or the music fest, but I had to lower my viewer settings waaay down and SL is the only platform where I have to do that. But so what? I know what it is. It's a big deal SL still being around after 20 years, when y'all know all of us having been hearing "SL is Dead" pretty much the whole time. If people don't know about SLB and other festivals that celebrate the community, some of that (not all) is likely due to them not seeking out the info. The rest, I dunno what else they can do? The blogs and forums and everything exist, the info is out there if you want to find it. Anyway, rant over. Don't wanna participate, then don't. Ugh.

As an OG grid explorer, I can't say I agree with 'anywhere on the map is scenic', (lols) especially for the folks I'm hosting, two of which have never even heard of The Blake. I'm looking for a bit more specific examples rather than just 'everything'. 🤷‍♀️

I'm taking out some friends for a birthday and would like a really nice starting spot/route. I have a few fav places I rezz my boat but looking for a pretty route that I may not know about. Thanks!

Hi 🙂 Does anyone know where I can go to do self-paced learning for Greedy? A few years ago, I stumbled by accident onto a sim that had free-to-play Greedy boards for learning purposes, but I can't find anything like that now. I already have the notecard info, but I learn better if I actually do the thing. I should add I don't really want to join a social group, but a classroom setting would be fine.
