Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be anything new. Certain groups seem to have always been favored by LL and given opportunities that the "regular" residents do not have a chance at. Often, we do not even know things like this are happening as it "seems" to be kept quiet. I'm not disputing the fact that certain groups have done some good things for SL. However, the favoritism seemingly shown to some of these groups leaves a bad taste in one's mouth.

Define "Correct" The information in my post is directly from the SL website. You can interpret it any way you want. But the information is right on the website very clearly stated.

I'm confused - here is the description of the Premium Plus membership from the Second Life website. I do not see anything listed that is not available to anyone. Premium Plus gets you: L$650 Weekly stipend to use any way you like (approx. $11 cash value every month) Up to 2,048 m² of mainland for zero monthly land fees (approx. $13 cash value every month) L$3,000 Signup bonus (approx. $12 cash value) 140 groups Join up to 140 groups Free uploads of sounds, textures and animations Create groups for L$10 Host up to 2 Land Experiences Up to 160 stored instant messages Create recurring Events for free Concierge phone support Choose your Linden Home concierge service Then it states also that All Premium members also enjoy A free Linden Home of your choice Nowhere in that description does it promise one of the new 2048 Linden homes. So, in reality, there is no Scam happening. It is carefully worded and pretty clear.

Does anyone know if the remaining themes will only be for Premium Plus (2048) ? or will there still be more themes for us Regular Premium members ? Just curious.

Currently have 5 - Houseboat, Log, Camper, Victorian, and Traditional. Love being able to decorate all the different styles. At one point or another I have had each type of home currently available. Keep coming back to these five styles.

I as under the impression that the next theme would come with the option of larger lots, but still be available as 1024. Similar to the Newbrookes and Sakuras. I may be wrong, but that was the impression I got from all the information given. I feel like creating an entire theme that excludes "regular" premium members would be a mistake on the part of LL. I could be totally wrong about my assumptions though.

Hello Frigga, I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for all the posts you make about your discoveries. I always see great things that I need to have for my homes. I, and many others I am sure, really appreciate the time and effort you put into making these posts. Thank You

I am wondering if LL will offer different heads to work with the body or just a basic head that is adjustable via the sliders. My choice would be to have different heads available so it would probably be easier to achieve the look you want.

The other thread was locked while I was trying to post - so I will try to put my thoughts here. My biggest disappointment with the Plus membership is the way that the Stipend increase is being handled for us older accounts with grandfathered stipends. While other members are getting more than double the stipend for switching to Plus, I would end up getting about 30% increase and be paying more than twice a year than I am for my regular premium account. I can't work out how this would make financial sense in my situation. If I was a creator that did a lot of uploading on a regular basis, then I could see it may be worth the increase. If I needed 140 groups ... maybe, but I have enough trouble keeping track of 70. For me, I would be better off financially with another Premium Alt.

I have searched the marketplace with no success. Does anyone know if there are any interior wall shells made for the Victoria's? I am looking for one for the Shelley house. I am wondering if they are just to complex with the turrets and bay windows.

Here are some pics of my Heaton so far. I have some trouble taking photos inside a structure, so I hope they came out ok.

Second Life is ultimately a world governed by Linden Lab - so, their decisions are something we need to accept. I have not really taken part in this Candy Hunt - I have walked around a few of the regions where I live and collected a handful of candies, but that's about it. And, I have seen many very nicely decorated homes and enjoyed it. My opinion (probably unpopular) is that there does not need to be rewards for an event like this. Maybe a participation gift for anyone that participates. The real problem with having "winners" is that there have to be "losers" also. If the goal of an event like this is to get the community together and have fun, then "prizes" are not necessary.
