Yes, i remember trying the beta for that, it was almost completely useless! I think they partnered with gaikai for it. It would only ever be worth it if it was the full sl running. I dont see why something like online couldnt offer Sl along with all the other games they currently provide, maybe theres a technical reason they cant, but it seems more like a licensing issue?

Will SL ever be coming to a service like onlive? Id be more than happy to pay the onlive monthly fee to be able to use SL anywhere.

Hi, im looking to upgrade my graphics card in my 2.66 quad core mac pro 4,1. Is there a card that would to get shadows working at a decent frame rate? Choice is limited to say the least!

I think i was one of the 3 people who liked the side bar so personally im sad to see it gone and dont like this new interface anywhere near as much. However i know im in the minority with this so im happy for them to change it

Direct x is windows only and theres nothing wrong with opengl anyway. I think you have something wrong with your settings or setup thats not getting on well with sl. That being said, i would love a next generation opengl based graphics and physics sytem to really make sl shine, its very overdue imo

I personally love viewer 2, but as others have said, if you dont like it, use another viewer. Moaning about viewer 2 seems to be some peoples main hobby these days?

Im looking for someone to build a low lag, simple gun script for the RP sim NOR. Ive built a low prim weapon and i have sound effects, animations etc but im completely lost when it comes to scripting. It will be for my personal use only and will not be sold. The web viewer beta proves you could run sl on an ipad or iphone.
