I received an inquiry on my account from Quercus Linden that is basically requesting my identity in full. They want my full name, social security, and a copy of my legal identification. While this was received on my account page as an open case, from a Linden, I'm still suspicious and wary to fill out the information. The request begins with: "Based on your volume and/or amount of process-credit requests, Linden Lab is required by applicable law to obtain, verify, and maintain information identifying you as our customer." Has anybody else received a request like this before? Edit 1: Thank you for the information. I do appreciate it. A friend of mind, however, is not so sure it is legit. I will be contacting Linden Labs ASAP. Edit 2: Again, thank you for all the information. A call to Linden Labs billing has given me peace of mine. It is legit.

Hey there! Needing a script to help a friend out. Somebody in his group of friends keeps coming into his house and messing up his prims and objects. We would like to place a script in some of these frequently-moved objects to track down which of his friends is the culprit. He really does not want to take away perms from all his friends because they all claim they are innocent, and we are trying to figure out other possibilities from sim resets to the land owner simply being a jerk. The basis of the script: When an object is moved The owner of the object (my friend) will be IMed by the object moved regardless of online status of owner (my friend) and tell the owner (my friend) who (moved the object) what (object was moved) when (that object was moved) If anybody can point me to a script already made, I would be happy to purchase it. Any help at all will be appreciated. Thanks!

I have been trying to get HELP on this for the past week, but I swear to the skies above nobody in Linden Labs is reading my bloody e-mails and keep sending me these generic responses. Edit: I have tried filing a ticket. They don't address the issue. I am using the URLs provided on the site in Chrome. Will try IE. Edit 2: Just tried in IE, filled out the password change form from the dashboard, got the 404 it's buggy page. Filing new ticket. LISTEN TO ME: Your password pages are 404ing when I try to reset my password. Anybody else having this problem? Please say so here.

I can log in at Secondlife.com. As soon as I try to go to any site associated with marketplace.secondlife.com it says I need to log in. I tried clearing data, cookies, trying different browsers, everything, but I can't access the marketplace! D:} Edit: Thank you, valerie Inshan, but as you can see I posted my question before it was announced on the grid status (originally on 09-16-2011 12:21 AM). That's why I placed it here, more of an awareness to see if I was the only one or if it was a bigger problem. I can log in now too. :)

My REAL life is being threatened by somebody in SecondLife because she was fired from the club where I work as a manager among others. This woman is very aggressive (we all think she drinks), but when it comes down her threatening our REAL lives, how should we handle something like this? We've all filed abuse reports at this point, but we want some immediate action.
