  1. I find Facebook to be a very effective source. Make a page for your business if you don't already have one and make sure you keep it up to date and interact often to build up an audience.
  2. The sims that have such skyboxes make it possible because each skybox is placed on its own individual parcel and then having the privacy settings the others here have described turned on. If your skybox is not on its own parcel then anyone inside that parcel no matter what distance they are at can cam to your avatar. Just thought I'd point that out.
  3. Here's another option for you if you really can't get a real computer running windows but it will cost you an arm and a leg. https://www.brightcanopy.com/
  4. Google gives you a Happy Birthday Google Doodle at least
  5. Claro que si, solamente si el objeto tiene los permisos No Copia/Si Transfer.
  6. Don't mind the people who would laugh. A lot of people don't have the money to buy higher end computers. What matters most is that YOU are happy with it not anyone else. Yes, I'd give that SLGo a try and 9.95 a month is still a lot less than 400+ dollars on a stronger computer.
  7. It seems so yes. [Posted 9:41 PM PST, 09 March 2015] We are currently performing unscheduled inventory database maintenance. During this time, some residents may experience login issues, inventory loading issues and an inability to rez. Residents inworld may also be logged off. Please refrain from rezzing no-copy objects and making L$ transactions during this maintenance. Please check back here for updates.
  8. You could always sign up for SLGo so you can view SL on Ultra graffics without putting too much strain on your computer that way it will last longer.
  9. As others had said the DSL option is better for you because a 30gb cap is not enough 30gb will be gone in less than a month. I used to have 1.5mbps speed and SL worked just fine.
  10. You're still trying to run SL from Chrome OS it seems. Chrome OS cannot run SL there is no chrome app that I know of for SL. EDIT: Ahh I didn't see you had downloaded the tarball. Which method of running Ubuntu are you using?
  11. Check this link out might help you. http://http://www.linux.com/learn/tutorials/795730-how-to-easily-install-ubuntu-on-chromebook-with-croutonwww.linux.com/learn/tutorials/795730-how-to-easily-install-ubuntu-on-chromebook-with-crouton
  12. SL go is for android if you are able to use android apps on it and they are not found on chrome webstore (I don't even know what chrome webstore is). Chromebook seems to me like its a web browser on a machine? I am sorry but your only option other than buying a laptop is to install Ubuntu on it (meaning you'll have to install a whole new operating system on it), or to test it out you can run it from a usb disk if chromebook allows. You can check out this video
  13. Judging from your attitude, I am glad you are unable to enter the "game" as you want to call it.
  14. Actually. If you can install something like Ubuntu on it that might be another route as long as the system specs are enough to run SL.
  15. Can you install android apps on it? If so then there is SLgo. Other than that you are sol.
