  1. Sorry I've just seen your post while searching the music category. I don't use Mixxx, but have it installed to learn the encoder setup. You should be able to select files or folders from the left menu in Mixxx, and even drag files onto Mixxx's virtual turntables, left or right.
  2. UNICEF is a very good charity, they did get a bad name because of some of their staff, But in general, they are doing a great job and are out their helping these lives.
  3. I saw a lady interviewed on Sky news this morning who is doing a similar fundraiser for a charity on the ground, near the polish border. Their campaign is raising funds around the UK and other countries in Europe, it's possible, but difficult to raise awareness by yourself. I do agree about giving directly to charities, that's why I changed the topic. There has been millions donated to Ukraine so far, but well, if this war continues, there won't be many citizens left when and if it ends. Around 2 million have fled Ukraine since last week, but there's over 44 million citizens? it's a horrible situation, they're hitting Kiev next. We're basically watching the extermination of one of the largest countries in Europe, our neighbors and friends. Without assistance from the rest of the world, Ukraine could be gone soon, they will fight to the end, as their president said this morning. I do hope the end means when they take back their nation but.. Sanctions are not stopping this onslaught, other more powerful nations including NATO won't get involved, for obvious reasons. Just this morning, the US rejected requests for Poland to give all their jets to the Ukraine military, but who's going to deliver them. There's only one way to end this war and nobody wants to go there. The Ukraine people need our support, please don't forget them. We love Ukraine.
  4. I totally understand, I'll try edit the title of this topic and my first comment, Just a reminder that people need our help, and Red Cross are out there too. We all love Ukraine. Unicef Ukraine Red Cross Ukraine National Bank of Ukraine Ukraine Humanitarian Fund Save The Children Irish Red Cross World Central Kitchen International Rescue Committee
  5. Sorry, not meant to be hostile, just upset over the current situation, apologies if you were offended. I'm not collecting any money, if it helps the charity that's all I want, it would help a lot of people right now. You search for the charity you want to help raise donations for on their website, and then start a campaign.
  6. There are many people raising funds through GofundMe and other online fundraising services, for charities all over the world. The Irish Red Cross depends on people's kindness and support to collect donations for desperate situations like this. A friend I know raised 50k two days ago, for another charity on the ground in Ukraine, and 100's of thousands raised through people globally. Even ten million won't be enough to help them in the long term, it's just to help them right now, as they come over the borders of Ukraine. The charity can claim charges back, even if it was a grand in fees, some very needy people will get the rest, that's all we want. The staff at GoFuneMe advised us on which approach to take and this is how we're doing it. Because I could't do such under my own name, understandably, so I choose to do a campaign for Irish Red Cross.
  7. The Red Cross and other charities are on the borders of Ukraine right now, in Poland and neighboring countries, Helping people escape this nightmare on Earth, it's winter time and thousands of people need shelter, food warm clothes, meds etc. My original topic was related to a fundraiser I started, But it's probably best to donate to these charities directly. We love you Ukraine! Unicef Ukraine Red Cross Ukraine National Bank of Ukraine Ukraine Humanitarian Fund Save The Children Irish Red Cross World Central Kitchen International Rescue Committee
  8. I understand but I'm stuck with the system I have right now. Was never going to get the best experience on the laptop I'm using.
  9. Hi, I just wanted to post this for anyone that might be having the same issue I was having with Firestorm. Thanks to Whirly Fizzle from Firestorm for helping me sort my issue I'm running the 32 bit version of Firestorm on Windows 10. From Whirly: This is probably a problem specific to these older Intel cards unfortunately. The benchmarking used to actually crash these Intel HD 2000/2500/3000 drivers. Lets try disabling Benchmarking & see if that fixes the problem. All the benchmark does is do a quick test on your card & decide what graphics level it should be set at by default. You can change the graphics settings afterwards anyway & the viewer will remember them. So you don't lose anything by switching benchmarking off. You are not the only one with this problem, that's why we have a way to disable benchmarking: https://hg.phoenixviewer.com/phoenix-firestorm-lgpl/rev/8551133b1d7b 1. While logged out of Firestorm. 2. Right click the desktop shortcut for Firestorm → Properties → Shortcut tab. 3. In the “Target” text box, go to the end of the text, *add a space* and then add this exact text to the end: --noprobe. eg) "C:\Program Files (x86)\FirestormOS-Release\FirestormOS-Release.exe" --set InstallLanguage en --noprobe 4. Click “OK” to apply to save changes and launch Firestorm using the Desktop shortcut. (Note that if you use the pinned application on your task bar, make sure you pin the shortcut, not the running viewer.) Hope this helps someone else as it did for me. Thank you Whirly for your quick assistance. Sounds Turner
  10. Thanks for the fix, worked for me on Firestorm OS Release http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_intel_fix_32bit
  11. If you're talking about HiFi I was testing the beta viewer earlier this year, wasn't impressed, was very basic. Obviously it's still in its early stages I know, but my system is not even compatable with that game already. I talk to a few mates about it that were in CloudParty then went to HiFi when the beta viewer was released. Maybe it does look a lot better than it did for me I dunno, might try it again when i get my toshiba back this week.
  12. Hi, I don't know much about this new game world, only what I have read and discussed with individules. Considering the entertainment value, interactivity and creativity Second Life has given it's residents, I'm looking forward to this new adventure. Been into this stuff since ActiveWorld & CyberTown, vrml days. I hope they think about the average person's budget in this new world, SL was always a bit over priced to own land. Paying out a grand to put your name on a simulator, before your 300 per month subscription.. Considering the price of virtual real estate in open sim worlds, SL could have been a bit cheaper to own virtual land. Something I've always thought about was being able to access an online world without the need to download a client. For example, you would have your own web site or page with info about your club/store/business/world whatever. Users would log in to your page and be able to access your world without downloading any game client. The world wide web has instant access to your world creations via their web browser, social media sites etc. If you built say an island club scene for example, and it gets popular, possibly the best way you could represent your creation to the public is through your own website, instant access, no downloads, visiting this place to get to your place etc. If anyone ever visited CloudParty, the idea behind it was cool at least, just log in and you're immersed in 3D. Anyway, can't wait to explore the new world, test the tools and get creative! hopefully soon.
  13. Hi, Need a script that allows users to join a list by touching an object. And give an object to a random user on a day set buy the ownser. Thanks
  14. It doesn't seem like a big deal until you look at the facts, Honda releases a new motor cycle but you won't find it on their website unless you happen to browse to old pages. I don't think you would be forcing anything on anyone, if someone views your web page they're there for a reason. It's you're responnsibility to make sure your potential clients see what you have to offer and your latest products. Look at "any" online store, you won't find their oldest products listed first, just seem the right way to do business. If someone can't find what they want when they want it, guarenteed loss of business, you lose potential clients. That would be unprofessional and inconsiderate in any design project. But it's not my fault because i didn't design it, Just saying it would be nice to have those options for the people that actually make and sell their products, services. They should have a choise to show potential customers what they want them to see first on their store.
  15. Can we re order items for sale on the market place? i don't see any option. I see the options to change the order as i'm viewing them, like - Age - Newest First, But this would be useful for when anyone else is viewing your products instead of seeing all your old items on top first.
