So if I rez it in a sandbox and sit on it, and then go somewhere else, it will still work?

Most places don't allow you to rez a "taxi" (ie to be ridable as a horse or climb things as a spider or squirrel). If you wear it and then sit on it, you just groundsit and don't move at all. If the script happens to be modifiable, is there any way to change it to work as a wearable hud, without having to sit on it?
