  1. so its been 4 days now, and still i cannot add my Skrill payment method, even though SL keeps charging me the $1 and sending it back to my Skrill account. Spoke to Skrill twice on the phone to make sure my account was functional, everything from Skrill's side is fine, i even had them send me an email which i sent to SL in a case report (which is still not answered 4 days later !! ) i must be skipping some step in the process, i am not sure if it is me going crazy or SL, can someone please guide me through the steps...1by 1 in the correct order to resolve my issue becaus ewhen i follow the stps given in the add payment method page they obviously arn't working

  3. as alwin said you can contact support but be ready to wait forever !! i think because of this maintenence problem...that by the way has now been resolved, but still is impossible for us to buy lindens, they must have many cases. I submitted 2 cases 2 days ago, and i still have not heard anything, not even something small like ( be patient, we will see to your case as soon a s we can ) ...NADA !!
  4. i have just seen in the statues grid that the maintenance on the billing service is resolved ..... [RESOLVED 1:42 PM PST, 30 July 2016] The unscheduled billing maintenance is now complete. so how is it that i still cannot buy any lindens or even upgrade to a premium account, ?? and my support cases have not even been aswered ?? what is going on with SL ??

  7. so if it is now complete.....why cant I and many others STILL not buy any lindens, and why is the support case i have opened not being answered ?? Alvin, any serious company in the world having technical problems would extend a special offer if they experienced some technical problem with their system. that is what getting serious really is !! and how am i supposed to know that the offer was just opened a week ago if i am only 3 days old ?

I have been having the same problem also, I have tried every one of those telephone numbers...none of them work, filed 2 case reports the first one because of the buying linden problem, and the second becauseI have been trying to become a premium member since i joined SL and the special offer closes tomorrow. so far none of the cases i opend have been answered, its like i dont exist ....i am curious to see if they will extend the offer due to the maintenence problem ...i doubt it, but it will be a test to see how loyal SL really is to its memebers !!

So i spent the day trying to buy lindens and upgrading to monthly premium, unsucessfully ... but from what i am reading through all the qustions being posted and answers there seems to be a problem with the billing department....now lets see how serious SL is...lets see if they extend the monthly premium special offer for the time they have been in maintenance. I mean if this technical problem did not exist i would have managed to become a premium member ...the offer ends 1st August ....i bet you anything they will not extend it !! or perhaps the maintenence is actually being done on purpose so people to get the change to use the special offer...who knows !!
  10. is it normal to file a report and have it completely ignored for over a day ? I have been trying to buy some lindens since yeterday, tried 8 times so far with my Skrill account but no success. so i called the skrill helpline to see if it has anything to do with them and they told me that from their side everything is fine and that my account if fully functional. I even got an email from them following the telephone call confirming that my Skrill acount is fine, I even sent the email to customer support. honestly i am so disapointed with customer support. i would have expected better, leaving your members without any answers or solutions is not exactly very professional

  12. I did that the first time i signed up to skrill !! ive used it for other payments on other websites, with both my credit card and my normal bank account, and i even contacted them and they told me that from their side everything was in order. so the problem comes from the SL side
  13. Alwin, can you send us a link to where SL announced there was a maintenance problem, ive been looking all over and cannot find it, I would have thought they would have posted it as an IM for everyone to read !!

I have tried 5 times this morning and I keep geting the same message.....my payment option was accepted but the transactions fail....i keep getting this email every time i try (OliverWilliamson...An attempt to purchase Linden Dollars for your account via the LindeX page on secondlife.com has failed) so.i just contacted SL....opened a case...waiting for a reply
