Please help...I am a newbie. I cannot remove a white layer "outfit" which is on my avatar. I cannot get "naked" in order to change.it's like a mummy outfit only on the torso and bottom .. thank you in advance Babbydolldesire

It's probably the painted on underwear that comes with pretty much all the "newbie" avis. You can't take it off; it's painted on the starter skin. You need a new skin. You can buy one off the marketplace or inworld. Skins tend to be pricey, and although you can find freebies, you get what you pay for...Check out Pink Fuel for a free skin, though. It's free for avis under thirty days old, and it's high quality.

in adition to the previous answer,

you can't just buy a new skin when you use a mesh avatar. It has to be a compatible one with the specific mesh system.

The only avatar that works with all normal skins without appliers or technical skills is the standard SL avatar.

The mesh starter avatar is something you should delete as soon as possible, it's nearly unworkable with any other clothes or skins.
