I can't use the "E" key to jump or the "F" key to fly anymore?

As it says Ive got the WASD on im not in a place where its a no fly zone Im using a brand new PC and I just downloaded Firestorm so its the first time on this PC yet I had this same problem before on my other PC which crashed on me.

Can anyone help please? ;.; please dont say either use CTRL one its not working and plus I dont want to use that even though it used to work and now it doesnt

Also can someone tell me what buttons I press to get the advanced settings  forgot its been 2 months without a PC >.<

On FS, to use the letter keys...Avatar/Preferences/move and View/Movment second line, check it. For the advanced and Developer menu Preferences/Advanced, check the boxes

Its active the 'Pressing letter keys affects movement (i.e. WASD) instead of starting local chat' =( I just clicked it off applied and tried to to jump with e nothing then I checked it again to turn it on and applyied it again and pressed e and still nothing ='(

I dont get why SL jump and fly worked for me but since all of a sudden its just stopped working right.. I mean if I double tap W I can do the run.. *sighs* v.v

Don't know that it was ever fixed but I had the same problem but have since fixed it.

What you need to do is open your inventory and search for "active" it will pull up all active gestures and for me at least there was a gesture that had the shortcut key of "E" and "F" which was the problem. After I deactivated the gestures it was all back to normal.

"E" works for me for jumping, then the up arrow to fly forward (and "C" to descend).  I'd double check the 'pressing letter keys affects movement' setting in your preferences.
