Body disapears?

So im not really sure whats happening but whenever i try to change my avatars clothes it just doesnt work. Shoes and hair show up but everything else just makes that part of her invisible? Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone know what i can do to fix this?

check if you really put on clothes, mesh (or layered)... if things go invisible it sounds to me you only wear alphas. If you wear layered clothes don't use alpha.s

Impossible to know with the information you've given. Are you using a mesh avatar or a 'classic' one? Are you wearing classic 'layer' clothing, mesh or applier? Do you have an up-to-date veiwer which will render mesh correctly? 

And as Alwin suggested, are you wearing alphas which you don't need?

im not really sure about the whole alpha thing i just made an account so im new to all of this stuff.

im pretty sure im using a mesh avatar but even when i tried to change to a classic avatar the clothes still dont show up, i do have an up to date viewer so i dont think its that. im not sure about alphas im new to the game so i honestly dont know what those are..?

Not sure if you know about these resources to help new people in SL. But here are some sims that have live helpers in them and/or tutorials, info, classes etc.

When you are logged into Second Life, just copy and paste a link to the top of your Second Life Viewer then hit enter.
