As people suggested in response to your earlier post, you have connection issues.  You're seeing gray textures because they are failing to render fully.  The information your graphics card needs is taking a long time to get there.   Take a look at http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/slow_rez .  Pay particular attention to HTTP texture fetching issues (see also http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/http_fetching_issues ).

The yellow triangles are related to the same problem.  They are a default that appears when your viewer is having a hard time rendering complex mesh objects, again often because you have a lousy Internet connection.  See http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/mesh_issues#pyramids_ducks .

Bandwidth is rarely the problem.  Most people have much more bandwidth than they need for SL.  The problem is reliability.  Unlike online games you may have played, SL depends on continuous real-time streaming of data between your viewer and the Linden Lab servers.  If you lose packets of data along the way or have irregular ping times, you may experience lag, poor texture loading, teleportation issues, and frequent crashes.  See Nalates's blog for some suggestions about how to diagnose and improve your connection.
