Having a hard time getting my shadows to show on firestorm viewer

Ok so i read a few things and people say to set to ultra and check the box that says shadows.. I have done it and still nothing.. I am using firestorm viewer

Changing your settings to allow Ultra and Shadows is necessary, but it won't make any difference if your graphics card is not capable of handling that level of detail.  You didn't say what graphics card you have in your machine, but that's the first thing I would look at if I were you.
