It’s just about inworld meetup time, and since we’re in the habit of sharing some of our favorite spots from the Destination Guide, this weekend, we wanted to flip the script and find out from you what spot you think is one of the best to visit for our next inworld meetup.

Share your recommendations in this forum thread - links to Destination Guide entry or SLURLS are best - and we’ll pick one to have our next inworld meetup.

The next meetup is planned for Thursday, May 14th at 1 PM SLT, so get your recommendations in soon!

Can I suggest Raglan Shire, especially since it's Artwalk time? The tinys of the shire are one of the most cohesive, active, fun and silly communities on the grid, and for the month of May, their sims are filled with art from more than 100 Second Life artists. It's really something incredible to explore.

It's a great chance for any visiting Lindens, and everyone else to see work from incredibly talented SL residents. And it's Artwalk's 10 anniversary, so celebration is in order.

One personal note: I hope these meetups continue, but would it be possible to occasionally hold one on a weekend? There are many SL residents, like myself and my partner Derry, that can't attend because they are held during the work week.

I would like to offer my sim, which is rated as moderate, for the next meetup. It is not in the Destination guide.

It is a sim dedicated to a community that supports arts, live music, and culture in Second Life. It is a non-profit sim. The website link below has pictures of the sim and more information about the sim.

We nominate Sweethearts Jazz Club,  a landmark community of folks in Second Life, 7 years strong! With G rated regions, a spacious place to have the inworld meetyp and we also have a homestead attached allowing for more people wanting to attend. We'd be honored to host the Inworld Meetup!

I've been on an exploration kick lately, and Dr Babcock's post about historic places reminded me of this tavern in the Kahruvel forest I found while following the Salazar Jack/Osprey Therian mythology. It's cosy, there's no lag, the view is nice, and there are a couple of campfire circle/picnic areas outside.

How many people are you expecting, Xiola? I'm not the most well-traveled resident, but I'd be happy to dig through my landmarks for something bigger/smaller/busier/etc.

(Disclaimer: I couldn't tell from the other replies if you have to own the place you're plugging here, but if so, I don't own the tavern, and I apologize.)

Hi Xiola,

I'd like to recommend the birthday sim of the largest German Second Life community for your next meeting.

This May we are celebrating the tenth birthday of our community and we'd be glad if we could host your next inworld meetup

Looking forward to your visit,

Sincerely Kila

May I suggest Helping Haven, we are a team of volunteers who have been helping new and old residents with SL issues for over 3 years here now. We also offer free classes, events and  free shops.

See our website for more details at http://helpinghaven.weebly.com or visit us at: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Isle%20of%20Creation/11/248/22

Hi Vivienne - if you are interested in having your region in the Destination Guide, send along the SLurl, suggested picture and description to editor@lindenlab.com. We're always looking for new destination to add there!
