Is it possible to connect SL using Microsoft TMG as a proxy??

Hi everybody, I would like to know if there is a possibility of connecting to SL from a Microsoft TMG proxy. As SL uses UDP protocol is not compatible with this Microsoft proxy.

I will really appreciate your help.

I'm not directly familiar, although I use Windows Server regularly.

There's no way to prevent SL using the UDP protocol and it is required, so if the proxy solution for TMG won't support UDP (as you claim) then I think you're out of luck. My understanding is that you require a SOCKS-friendly proxy to support UDP.

 

I do also notice that TMG is end of life, stuck on extended support only. Maybe it's time to look for a new security solution?
