In world destination search not working.

I am using Viewer 2 and logging in with advanced mode.  I am unable to access the destination guide search and my profile.  When I select these options I just get a blank box.  I have tried logging out and logging back in and also restarting my computer.

Clearing cache and relogging did NOT work.

 

Guess I'll use the web search.  The links works ok.  This is the first time the in world search hasn't worked for me and I'm on the same computer I always am.  Thanks.

Hello Airway. Clear your cache under your Preferences and Advanced tab, relog and see if that helps.

I am not sure about the destination guide, but according to one of the devs at Phoenix-Firestorm, the problem is an issue with how the viewer accesses that web that some virus scanners block.  Not sure how to fix. You can of course access both the destination guide and search directly from your browser (Firefox, IE etc.) . That would get you the info.

 

http://search.secondlife.com/web/search/?q=search&s=secondlife_com&m=N〈=en-US   That link may or may not get you to web search, but it is what I see on my screen when I am there.  You can search all categories including destination guide.
