I can't upload anything without crashes. Any solution? [Mac OSX]

I seen the solution for Windows users which is deleting Microsoft Skydrive, but I have a Mac. 

I uninstalled iTunes, Signed out of iCloud, and the problem still exists.

This bug has evidently been a hard one to get rid of.  As I read JIRA comments, I see that LL did solve the problem late last summer, but then upgrades in cloud server software (Microsoft SkyDrive etc.) busted the fix again.  Take a good look at http://jira.phoenixviewer.com/browse/FIRE-1142 , where you'll see lots of commentary.  There's a suggestion that turning off OpenGL Virtual Buffer Objects (VBO) iun Preferences >>> Graphics >>> Hardware works for some people.  You may want to open a new JIRA report in the Linden Lab JIRA, or add comments to the Firestorm JIRA that I linked above.

I have the same problem in that I crash when trying to upload anything, be it a mesh or a texture. I have tried with the Second Life viewer and Firestorm, in Second Life, Second Life Beta  and in InWorldz. It seems to have begun when I installed OSX Yosemite onto my Mac.
