Nothing kills convo, and a well thought out and researched response, other than clicking 'post', it appears to be in the conversation, but then is nowhere to be found.

Can you check Merchants->MP Integrity topic, I should have reply there at the end. If not, there are forum posting issues currently.

As you know, Lindens never come to this Answers area and rarely come to the rest of the forums.  We're all SL residents like you, so we can see whether something gets posted but we can't do anything about it.
